We went for a 2 night stay using a voucher paying £40 for our two small dogs and were given room 6. The main room was ok apart from the filthy carpet which had suffered from previous occupants dogs-BUT I thought that was what the £40 is to cover- extra cleaning after dogs and there was no hairdryer as per...

We were rather underwhelmed with out recent visit to the Crown Hotel, Blockley. It certainly did not do justice to the fabulous surroundings and delightful village it is located in. Our room was annexed from the main hotel and adjacent to both the main hotel entrance and drive way. The ill fitting, single glazed, windows, meant we could hear everything...

We booked to stay at The Crown due to its proximity to several places we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds. It's close to many places such as Moreton-in-marsh, Broadway, Batsford Arboretum etc. The room was nicely presented on arrival but the following day we returned at lunch to find that the maid service consisted of throwing some clean towels...

We spent last weekend at the Crown Inn and were impressed by the hospitality and level of service. Tony in particular was very conscientious, thoughtful and efficient, with a delightful sense of humour. He certainly puts in a lot of hours too - he was on duty all the time and seemed to cover everywhere from reception to dining room...

A fantastic coaching Inn - beautiful and well looked after. Modern touches blend well with period.Staff really efficient and very well mannered though foreign accented worker who appeared today was in dire need of people skills and his mannerism lacked the finesse that Tony had - and after hearing him the way he spoke to the Assistant Tony this morning...

A double room with Bed and breakfast for one night for £45. Wow! Great value. Comfortable clean bed, fresh white towels and tea/coffee plus biscuits we really couldn't complain. The breakfast was terrific too with choice of fruit juices, cereals plus full English and toast and jams. Brilliant and the service good too. Meals are taken in the main part...

On arrival at this hotel, my first impression was already that this would be my one and only stay at this particular establishment, due entirely to the extremely narrow and potentially very treacherous route that I had to take to the car park. Given, however, that the car park was almost completely empty when I arrived and the fact that...

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for a weekend away. The staff were very helpful and the rooms we had were a good size with a comfortable bed and good facilities. We ate in the bar and the restaurant and the food was good. It is a quiet hotel within easy reach of many Cotswold villages such...

Stayed here for the second time on a voucher deal. First time with my other half, second time with my daughter. Loved the room (5), slightly better than room 6 in layout, so seemed bigger. Comfy beds, Very slight problem with the shower (it stopped half way through!), but came back on a few minutes later and stayed hot all...
