Stayed one night, staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable, the only criticism would be the lack of power points (only two found in room - TV & kettle. Restaurant / bar well equipped with selection of real ales and comfortable seating. Excellent parking with wide bays.

We were last in the Royal George about 20 years ago. Suffice to say, it has changed hands since. We popped in for a late lunch in the bar. There were quite a few people in the bar area but it was not overly busy. The bar catered for all ages and species. It's nice to see dogs in a...

Efficient and helpful Reception staff. Large car free park. Spacious, clean (superior) room. Large bar (with food available). Wide ranging dinner menu (reasonably priced) in the restaurant (excellent Lamb Shank!); with very helpful staff. Full breakfast for all tastes. A very pleasant stay in an old coaching inn with character.

Excellent location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable not too far from the city of Gloucester in a pretty village location. Excellent breakfast buffet and cooked...

We visited here to celebrate my daughter starting a new job. We had to wait 35 minutes for our starter to arrive. We ordered a share platter of breaded mushrooms, chicken, onion rings. When it eventually arrived it tasted like on of the Christmas selections you buy from Iceland. Very over cooked with not much filling. I ordered the chicken...

We stopped here one night on route to Devon. Lovely area, hotel very welcoming, warm, comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful with our specific needs with location of rooms, storing medication in fridge and accommodating our large family group which included several special needs children.

I had stopped here for chips a few years ago and decided to pop in again, over a lunchtime, when driving through. I wanted chips and a salad, and both were good. The person serving me at the table was lovely and friendly, but the young girl behind the bar - from whom I ordered the food - could benefit...
