Thank you Alan and Jill for a lovely stay at your hotel, though you refer to it as a B & B. Its perfectly located and comfortable enough for a short stay. The breakfasts are superb and set us up for the day. Excellent value and if we return, we will stay again if you'll have us!
We only stayed one night in room number 1 was very clean and bright room , breakfast was served hot . Very friendly would recommend staying here and would stay again . It's only round the corner from the theatre and only 15 minute walk from the town centre
We really enjoyed the time there. The hotel is clean and lovely. So cosy! The owners are so friendly and cook amazing English breakfast (with no beans).:)) We booked the biggest room 6 on the top floor with 2 windows to the street. The room is spacious with TV, wardrobe, WC and shower. Everything is so clean. Just one drawback - the double bed was not so comfortable and it is quite small. My bf is 1.89, so his legs were in the air.;D Also, we put some towels on the mattress to make it more comfy. But other than that everything was really good. The unlimited spring water bottles is near the room 6 in the fridge and downstairs near the entrance. And the owners love to speak. If you show your interest, they will let you know about the beautiful places of UK and surroundings.:)
I stayed at The Trinity with my boyfriend for a night when visiting friends in Southend. There were lots of positives - the owners were really friendly, helpful and let us leave our bags the next day while we went exploring the area. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and breakfasts were delicious - as a vegetarian, they were very catering for me and changed one of the breakfasts to accomodate me. The rooms were nicely decoratd and were a good size. Finally, the location was really good, right by the Cliff's Pavillion and on the seafront. Although we were mostly happy, there were lots of issues which we felt needed looking at for the price: - DIY issues - cracks in walls and ceilings, towel holder on the back of the door unuseable as not screwed in properly. Windows…
The Trinity is a lovely place, simple but with very stylish touches (there are lots of beautful books and prints everywhere for example). Breakfast was good, and was soundtracked by Alan talking us through his favourite songs (which we absolutely encouraged), having given us lots of recommendations of where to go when we arrived. Highly recommended.
