Booked this hotel for my daughter who was travelling up from the south for my wife's birthday celebrations nearby. Staff were very helpful and friendly when I dealt with them and my loved the room and facilities.

Hotel is in a handy location and not too far from the station. The room was very clean and tidy and a pretty decent size if stopping for a night or so. The staff are lovely and the women receptionist was fantastic, bent over backwards trying to help me on my travels, would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, staff extremely pleasant and very welcoming. Room spotlessly clean, the breakfast was superb - really cannot find fault with anything. We will definitely be back when next in Hornchurch. Thank you Devonshire, you fully deserve the praise.

The staff, as previously mentioned, are so friendly and helpful (we had a few issues with our door sticking and a late check in and they were speedy in their replies to emails and actually helping us in person when we arrived) and the hotel itself was absolutely lovely. The rooms are not in the main building, which we preferred,...

Always a pleasure to stay at this friendly, clean little place, can't fault it, good food and spotless rooms, close to high street with restaurants and bars close by . Station is at the end of the road all in all a perfect set up .

Nice little hotel within walking distance of Hornchurch town centre. The room and bathroom was clean. Only bad thing was that the double bed was really small. Cos of that my partner and I didn't get a good nights sleep.

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We had Executive room on ground floor which was clean and nicely decorated, if a little small, but what can you expect for less than £100 in London. Breakfast was lovely, they will cook what you want to order, plus there's a small buffet for continental breakfast which was nice. I'm not sure if...

I stay here frequently because the hotel is close to my father's care home. I come from America twice a year and stay here. The staff are very nice and friendly but I think I do need to address some issues which I have experienced this year. I booked directly with the hotel and paid, I thought, with the credit...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying at the Devonshire. I'm sorry you experienced some problems on your stay, with reference to breakfast, and the room size. Room dimensions and information on our breakfast is clearly stated on our website so potential guests have an idea of what to expect. We do have restricted parking but again this is stated on...
