Had a business meeting here today and was looked after brilliantly by David. We arrived and wanted something to eat and he could not have been more accommodating: whilst he recognised me from before he hadn't met my guest before and he was the consummate professional. I will certainly be using Marygreen again and I do hope that David is...

Me and my mum had afternoon tea here on 22nd March. I read reviews about Marygreen Manor which were generally very positive, so decided to come here for an early Mother's Day treat. We definitely were not disappointed. The cakes and sandwiches were absolutely wonderful (especially the scones!) and the service was impeccable with very friendly waiters. We had such...

I stayed at Marygreen Manor for the 4th time now and will come back. It was a great stay again. Quick and friendly check-in, a nice big room, modern bathroom, free WIFI and a great breakfast. I like the whole setup of the single houses or cottages in an old style. For me this is like I travelled back in...

Lovely hotel. This is the 5th time we have stayed there. We stayed in a garden room which was clean and comfortable as always, although some areas were noticed to be in need of a little touch up but not something that bothered me. The meal in the restaurant was up to its usual standard and the food was amazing....

This is not a chain hotel like a Travelodge. I like staying here, the rooms nearest reception are my favourite. I normally ask for room 1.. the have a home from home feel.. and i love the breakfast.. the breakfast hall it self, prob hosted Henry the VIII at some point.. it's old and very nice.. breakfast is good too....

I've stayed at the Mary Green Manor each week for around three and a half years. After trying all the hotels locally I settled on this one for its unique homely features. It has comfortable beds, fantastic food, but the rooms that open onto the secluded garden make it stand out from all other hotels. The staff are great, friendly,...

Was extremely disappointed. Staff using Hands to serve ice and very slow service The evening buffet''!!!!! Well could do better choice very limited and only a few items prepared on premise others bought in ready to cook. What ever package you can afford the hotel could do better

Enjoyed an evening meal with friends. Food was good but a little more attention to detail would be good e.g. I have been twice and enjoyed the pate but never enough toast to use the portion of pate, half a slice is not sufficient per person. Main meal was good as was dessert and a lovely cappuccino .

Just a lovely, quaint place to take afternoon tea with excellent service and even better food and beverages. There were 4 flavours of finger sandwiches: smoked salmon, cheese and tomato, ham and egg mayonnaise, 4 types of mini cake: carrot, profiterole, citrus mousse and the most delicious fruit flan with oh so short pastry. We had 2 fruit scones each...

Visited with my 8 old daughter and her friend and mum to make birthday plans and what a lovely way to get together. Beautiful old building to take afternoon tea in. The sandwiches, cakes and tea were perfect and when the girls asked if we could take the last few cakes home the lovely staff were more than happy to...
