We were really looking forward to this afternoon tea as the flyers make it look great. It was quite expensive at £16.50 per so we were expecting a treat. For this sort of money I would have expected to have had real loose leaf tea but we had tea bags. Maybe petty but for me this is the difference between... More

We had a fabulous day, mostly spent in the fabulous gardens which we mainly had to ourselves even on a hot summers day - nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were efficient without being intrusive.

We stayed in the 'executive suite'; the room was nice with all the facilities you'd expect. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had the 6 course taster menu with wine which I would highly recommend if you enjoy nice food. The bill was £200 including a couple of additional drinks, which we were more than... More

I've been many places for afternoon tea, but this was such a lovely venue. The food, service and decor made it such a lovely afternoon. Would highly recommend this venue as a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy afternoon tea at its finest

Me and a friend went here for afternoon tea today! The food was lovely (eapecially the Strawberry sponge thing), the setting was very relaxed and the staff were very tentative. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back!

Spent a night here and had a lovely room in the courtyard. Very peaceful and beautiful view of the gardens from the window. Each room in this part of the hotel resembles a little cottage. It was very peaceful, although other reviewers had said it could be a bit noisy if there was a wedding taking place. The room was... More

We stayed for bed and breakfast on a Saturday night. Location excellent, very close to M25 junction. Comfortable double room was in a separate annexe, with all usual amenities, including aircon which was needed as we couldn't keep the windows open due to a noisy disco in the main building. Breakfast very generous. certainly recommended for a one night stay.

We spent one night here whilst visiting a family function. The location is ideal - only five minutes from the M25 and on the outskirts of Brentwood. We were given an upgrade to a spacious, well equipped room (including air con.) in an adjacent annexe. Both the building and the gardens are beautiful and the staff are welcoming and friendly....
