Lovely campsite in perfect location. Helped having Mediterranean conditions! The beach is lovely and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. We thought we saw France on our walk along the beach in the evening but it was just a sandbank. We did see Mars though... The campsite is run by dedicated, friendly people - especially the Welsh... Returned after 30 years, and it's hardly changed a bit. Big pitches, very friendly staff, little shop, right on the beach. Family friendly with a playground. Toilets were cleaned daily, sadly other guests sometime didn't tidy after themselves but no fault of the site. Would return again.

This was our first experience of camping. We went as a couple with our 2 dogs as it was a dog friendly site. I was slightly anxious & had all sorts of ideas as to what to expect, none of which were very positive. The campsite took me by surprise, it was very well maintained, the pitches were adequately spaced... More

We have just got home from Normans bay, we had a lovely relaxing time, although site was very busy, the wardens were so good and very friendly, they all worked so hard. We enjoyed going to Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, which is 10 mins from site, behind Azda, we had some lovely meals there, in different restaurants. We will definitely go... More

As always a great stay at this site. Pitches nice and large, toilet and showers exceptionally clean. Stayed for a long weekend and didn't want to leave. This is one of our favourite sites and we will be back again. Staff always helpful and smiling. Small shop on site if you forget any essentials. Right on the beach, great for... More

We've been coming here on and off for 14 years. This year we brought two other families with us. Kids aged from 9 to 18. You get a great space, we were able to pitch our three tents in a triangle with great living area in the middle, the staff are super jolly and helpful and the site is immaculate.... More

My wife and I have stayed at this campsite before many times and have noticed s slow decline in staff attitude, helpfulness and respect. We recently took two of our grandchildren with us as during our last stay we observed the run down play area was being refurbished, we were unable to get a powered pitch for our motor home... More

A very well cared for site, the pitches are level, the facilities are clean and modern with ample showers to cover this large site, very nice fenced in kids play area, and a dog friendly site, the staff could not have been more helpful, the beech is opposite the site, just across a very quiet road. We have just returned... More

Really fabulous 5 days spent with my family here. Grounds are well looked after and staff are friendly. Situated right on the beach with lovely pubs close by especially the castle inn in pevensy. The only issue that was slightly annoying is that we were placed opposite the play area as we have a 4 & 6 year old. That... More
