WE spent 3 nights here with friends; easy to find right opposite the castle with plenty of parking and well situated for visiting the Sussex coast. All rooms in the hotel are suites and it was lovely to have the extra space . We were in Bramber - comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage space, spacious shower in the bathroom... More

We were visiting the local area and thought it a lovely spot to stop for refreshment. We had our dog with us, and although she wasn't allowed inside, we were welcomed to sit outside, and they kindly fetched a water bowl. We ordered a lovely ( and very filling) Cream tea, and drinks. Really good sandwiches. Proper ham. Great service.

We recently spent one night at the Priory Court Hotel as part of a longer stay in the Kent and Sussex areas. On arrival, we easily found the hotel as it is directly opposite Pevensey Castle, the main reason for our trip to the village. We stayed in the Bodiam Suite; the rooms were beautifully decorated, lovely and clean, everything... More

This is a very difficult place to review as I'm not sure what it is. Is it a hotel, a guest house or a pub? Starting with the suites, they are clean, very spacious and have beautiful quality furniture. Sadly they lack any character and are stark to the point of soullessness. The bathroom accoutrements are basic with no shower... More

Lovely stay. Room was spotless. Blackout curtains ensured a nice lie in! It was really nice having a separate lounge and bedroom. TV's in both rooms. Staff friendly. Tasty breakfast, lots of choice and well presented.

Visited here for a family wake. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to accommodate all of us considering the solemnity of the occasion. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food, but the bar tariffs seem to be as you'd expect from a seaside town. The garden looked beautiful and well tended to.

I dream of places like this, located in a tiny village overlooking castle ruins with a couple of great pubs/restaurants in the historic town.. We got the last room available, a huge modern suite which had a separate living room, flat screen TV, tea making items, and a minibar. Bedroom and living room had a view of the castle. The... More

The Priory Court Hotel is now offering a Jazz Band and BBQ in the garden. Check their website for details and dates. We went to the first one 14/5. The band and a few tables are in a marquee in the garden. Additionally, tables are available in the open. Fortunately the weather was kind, The cost including food and band... More

A lovely, clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good food. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was excellent. We stayed in the Arundel suite which was spacious and quiet and had a lovely view over the garden.
