Nice people work here had a drink in the pub with the owner and was very hospitable. The hotel rooms are well lit clean and comfortable. My bathroom was a little tight and the tub had a slow drain. The only true issue was the wifi. Overall nice location in a nice little town.

Firstly, you should know I did not actually stay at this hotel so cannot comment on any of its facilities. I did not get that far as the telephone conversation I had whilst trying to book the hotel completely put me off. I am getting married nearby in July and originally booked 2 rooms via Ebookers through the Trip Advisor...

We went for Sunday Lunch - staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The food was the saltiest food we have ever had ! Eventually we gave up eating as the salt was over powering. We had roast beef which was so tough we asked for steak knives even then we had problem cutting it up ! Large potion which...

The hotel is well sign posted when arriving at the destination. There is a pretty spacious car park around the back of the hotel which is free to use for guests. We were welcomed at reception by the lovely female receptionist, who checked us in and then took us to our rooms personally, offering to help carry bags too, as...

My wife and I stayed at this cosy and inviting hotel last weekend, we booked through booking site but we would have got a better rate booking direct, we will definitely do that next time. On arrival at check in the receptionist, a middle aged man, showed us to our room and then booked us a taxi to take us...

Having booked about a dozen rooms for a big birthday weekend for myself and my twin sister who lives locally, we were all expecting at least a welcoming small country hotel. Up until check in, things had been fine, Brett (manager?) had been very cooperative with my queries and with all room bookings. However, the day we checked in, it...

Thank you very much for your review Miss Wigg I note your comments are rather similar to the review below and there is not much else I can add in response. We are a village Inn/hotel not a country house hotel and do not promote ourselves as one, therefore our level of service is in line with the tariffs we...

On arriving here for a local party we were overlooked roundly at check in . When the staff .. Who were relaxing in the bar at the time realised we were checking in things improved momentarily. However that process was rather spoiled when my companion who made the booking was greeted with "O so you are the infamous ms xxxx" !when...

Thank you for your review, we value all reviews good or bad as it allows us to improve on our service. I have taken the time to investigate your stay with us as I am a little surprised at the level of ramblings within your review especially those aimed at the manager. When staying at an hotel it is quite...

We stayed only one night, and found no fault with our bedroom, which was spotless, well equipped and with a very comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful at the back of the hotel. The welcome was a bit perfunctory, which surprised me as the conversation I had had when booking was warm and helpful. We had invited old friends to come...

We were booked to see a show at the Chequermead theatre so the Brambletye was a great location just down the road. The hotel staff were all welcoming and attentive, our twinbedded room was clean, well furnished and larger than expected. Our beds were very comfortable too. Food was delicious too!
