On 27th May,2016 I was married and we had our wedding breakfast and reception for 100+ at The Roebuck Hotel and it was fabulous. Valentina and her team were friendly and helpful setting up the day.The day could not have gone better. We had their Ivory package which was gorgeous, the toast master helped everything go swimmingly despite some of...

Recently stayed for 2 nights at this hotel - staff friendly and welcoming, evening meal menu pretty good and the food was very nice. A very extensive breakfast menu and again cooked to a good standard. The bedroom was a little on the tired side, could do with an update decorative wise but was clean and tidy. Struggled with the...

We stayed one night as we have many times before. The dinner, breakfast was very good and the staff exceptionally helpful. BUT The hotel really needs some money spent on the building etc. In our room the carpet had a green stain from where the radiator had leaked and the paint had peeled off. The toilet did not flush, something...

Good restaurant menus.,friendly and efficient foreign staff, characterful and romantic. Lots of older couples and families. Spacious and looks ideal for functions. On a busy road but not easy to find in the dark.

It's been a while since I went to Roebuck Hotel and i won't be in a rush to go back. Ordered the starters which didn't take long to arrive as the main restaurant was mainly empty at 2pm in the afternoon. The starters were nice and the staff were polite, not English though, this was noticeable as they were heard...

We have just returned from 2 nights at the Roebuck and were very happy with the place. The public areas were full of charm and the staff all excellent. We had room 203 with a beautiful view onto the garden. Although on a very busy road, there was very little traffic noise. The room itself was very comfortable but tired....

Our room was basic, but had everything in it we needed. I think most importantly for me was the bed was comfortable so we were both able to get a great night sleep. The management were really helpful and food was delicious.

We had a "superior" room for the weekend but it was very dated. Everything worked but secondary double glazing and subsequent condensation meant a restricted view from the window. The room was clean and warm but the bathroom needed a major overhaul. The loo seat was very old and made of wood, and it displayed signs of considerable distress when...
