We stayed here for a couple of nights as we had a family wedding to go to.. The room was very small, as was the bathroom. The curtains would not close in the bedroom, not much room to hang our clothing.. We ate here on the first night and enjoyed our meal.. Breakfast was excellent.. Would I stay again.. Yes... More

lunch at the Bell today in the garden Was going to have a coffee only but was tempted by the great menu Modern, tasty and excellent quality- served quickly by friendly staff on a very hot and busy day Did stay at this hotel in 2009 with my Mother as part of her 100th birthday present, we had a lovely... Pleasant lunch with all the family after a lovely stroll on the beach. Very hot day but plenty of parasols in the garden to shade our party. Busy lunch time on a Saturday but service was pretty prompt.....ooh the whitebait!!

Visited here with my family for my parents 50 wedding anniversary who live in walberswick. The staff were extremely attentive as you normally order at the bar, but came and took our order, explained the menu and were very accommodating for a member of our party that has a peanut allergy. As a party of 8 we had various meals,... More

Visited with family, walked over from Southwold for lunch. Sat in the garden which was advertised as a sea view...only if you stood on the table. However nice place to sit, food really good and a varied menu. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful if I'm honest, may have been an off day.

We had lunch here and sat out in the beer garden. Plenty of space and tables even though it was really busy. Food was lovely, with big portions. We had between us, a fish finger sandwich (proper fish fillets in batter), a Suffolk ham sandwich, baked camembert and herby hommous. We all loved what we order. Can definitely recommend.

We ate in the garden on a nice sunny day and had a lovely time. The garden is large and pleasant the pub itself was really quaint and lovely inside. Though busy, there wasn’t a long wait for the food, which was average pub grub. The chips were nice but my sandwich was a bit dry and very average. It’s... More

We had read that The Bell had great fish and chips and this turned out to be true. I tried the Cromer Crab as I had not had this before. It too was excellent. The pub staff were very friendly and informative about the food and the prices were surprisingly good. Definitely going there next time we visit Walberswick. We... More

The Bell is an historic pub, full of character and much more relaxed and informal than the nearby Anchor. Its key asset is a lovely pub garden, with views over the dunes and sea from one end. The food is varied, tasty and served efficiently by a team that knows how to cater for what can be big groups during... More

Pub with great character. We are a frequent visitor to Walberswick and we chose a starter/light meal from the menu for lunch. We don't usually eat here when we do we aren't disappointed. Delicious healthy food. Well healthy is what we chose!
