Had a great lunch, was awesome watching the 'surly' barmaid slay any punter not quite sure of their drinks order and slamming the phone down on anyone who dare ask to book a table for lunch. Highly amusing made our weekend, food was excellent, kids & dog friendly highlight of our weekend.

After having spent many lovely lunch times in this pub over the years we were so shocked at the surly and totally unhelpful attitude of one of the barmaids when looking for a table that we decided to leave. We were truly sad to have been treated so badly as the Bell is one of our favourite holiday haunts. Seems... More

Having been regulars to The Bell Inn during family holidays for years, we were disappointed in the customer service this year. The nice, charming staff of previous years have been replaced by surly and rude staff (who made us feel so unwelcome that we decided to leave and do not intend to return). It seems a shame that a place... More

Lovely, characterful village pub, with large peaceful beer garden at the back. We only popped by for drinks on this occasion but the aromas from the kitchen and the food menus were very tempting! Definitely will return to sample the food next time!

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we had a family wedding to go to.. The room was very small, as was the bathroom. The curtains would not close in the bedroom, not much room to hang our clothing.. We ate here on the first night and enjoyed our meal.. Breakfast was excellent.. Would I stay again.. Yes... More

Pleasant lunch with all the family after a lovely stroll on the beach. Very hot day but plenty of parasols in the garden to shade our party. Busy lunch time on a Saturday but service was pretty prompt.....ooh the whitebait!!

Visited here with my family for my parents 50 wedding anniversary who live in walberswick. The staff were extremely attentive as you normally order at the bar, but came and took our order, explained the menu and were very accommodating for a member of our party that has a peanut allergy. As a party of 8 we had various meals,... More
