I've had to stay in the area twice in the past couple of weeks, and the Randolph was a great choice. Good value for money, good clean rooms, and great atmosphere with locals clearly enjoying it - particularly the Wednesday night Winter Warmer dinners! My only regret is having to leave too early for a proper breakfast, but tea, toast...

Booked this room due to the price and availability on new years eve. On arrival we were met by a very friendly and helpful man. Who advised us of what was going in Southwold. So no complaints about service. The room was ok but they should of fixed the curtain as it was hanging off so I hung back up....

Really enjoyed our minibreak to Southwold. The Randalph is in a great position to explore Southwold and the surrounding area. The staff do a good job of being friendly and helpful, delivering great service. Dinner was tasty, the bar area comfortable and serves local Adnams beer. Room was clean, comfortable and tidy. Breakfast was huge and very tasty. Seems popular...

I stayed in the Randolph hotel for 1 night due to it's proximity to Southwold. The hotel itself was much more reasonably priced compared to Southwold and was only a 15 min walk away. Pros: The outside of the building is great. Lots of parking. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and clean. They have...

Fantastic little hotel within a short drive of the beach, pier and shops of Southwold. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as well as being of a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful - giving us recommendations on where to visit. Only ate breakfast at the hotel, but there was an amazing choice and could not be faulted....

If you're looking for a base in the Southwod area, then this is the place to stay. Cheaper than the flagship Southwold hotels but only a 10 minute walk into town, ample on-site parking (which can be an issue in Southwold) and a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere from check-in to check-out. Excellent breakfasts and a good selection of well-prepared...

We had family staying in Southwold and looked for a reasonable hotel in the area for one night. Booking.com came up with the Randolph Hotel and how glad we were that they did. We had room no.9 which is large and airy with splendid ceiling lights which meant we could see to read! (Often we need head torches, hotel rooms...

Stayed here for one night as working away. Staff are very friendly and polite, food was lovely especially the breakfast. I came down early for my breakfast as I needed to get off early and that was not a problem, my breakfast was on the table within 5 minutes. Would stay here again.

Dear DowleS It was great to look after you all for the weekend, and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with US. Southwold is just 15-20 minutes away but we are delighted that you chose to eat and drink at The Randolph!..... Sorry about the eagerness of turning the coffee machine off! It is deep cleaned every evening...
