Make sure you're hungry when visiting this beautiful inn as the food and beer are superb. We stayed in Snape for a week and had three evening meals here. All were excellent. Flavoursome lamb, succulent pork and seasonal veg are reared/grown on adjoining land by the delightful husband and wife owners and the husband's the chef too - they both... More

Dropped in on the off chance of a table. Staff were very accommodating and found us a table. The service was very prompt and when the food arrived.. Hot and very well presented and very delicious. We all had 2 courses and drinks, very responsible. Will return, keep up the good service! 👴🏻👍

Beautiful old inn in heart of Suffolk. The check in was easy and the room just beautiful with old timbers wonky floors and comfortable bed. Loved it. Really good breakfast with local sausages and bacon. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit

Lovely food (steak and steak & kidney pud respectively). Service friendly and ambience as good as when we've visited before but restaurant was cold which knocks one star off. Meat and veg particularly good.

This was our second stay at the crown, and we were not dissapointed. Nice comfortable rooms, great food, lovely bar and freindly, helpful staff. This time we brought the dog with us and she was made very welcome too. Thank you.

Returned after a a year or so. Reminded myself what a cracking little pub this is. Nice feel, nice little bar, and a reasonable sized restaurant. Star of the meal was the wife's kid goat cassoulet was really very good. My steak was a little uninspiring, but fine. Suggest you go for lamb in a week or two, the ones... More

Female staff were very welcoming and attentive. Whoever made the starter of Gloucester Old Spot had made a lot of effort to serve so many ways with pork - very nice presentation of the starter. Very generous serving of moist & flavoursome turkey, served in hot bowls. Just missed roast parsnips ! Shame Christmas puddings seemed to be microwaved as... More

Stopped off for lunch en route to Aldeburgh and if we weren't so full would have happily come back for dinner. The menu isn't overly big, which for me is positive as everything is freshly prepared. The fish and chips was simple but very well done. Light, crispy batter, succulent fish, a sackload of chips and lovely home made tartare... More
