I had a bad day and was still at home when I should really have checked in, so I phoned to check that a (very) late arrival was in order. They were already worried about me. It's a small family run hotel so no 24 hour reception, but nonetheless my arrival at midnight would be accepted and they'd have a... More

We stayed one night at this lovely 16th century country house hotel. I had phoned to say we'd be arriving at 10pm, and we were given a very warm welcome by the owner on arrival. We were shown to our room, then had drinks in the wood panelled lounge. The bedroom was large and very quiet, situated to the rear... More

Had a great night away with family at the Worlington Hall. 10 members for the family accommodated in 5 rooms. The hotel is under fairly new management and they could not have done more for us to make sure we had a great evening and overnight stay. The previous owners have not done much updating over the years and the... More

Stayed for 1 night as was attending the Newmarket nights racing and concert. Staff and management were very friendly and enjoyed a late drink and chat on return to hotel which finished off the night very well. As other reviews have said, and the management have agreed, that the rooms are a little bit dated and need refreshing but the... More

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Newmarket races. We were in Robin room (I think that was it's name!) Its a large room with plenty of space and a smallish bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and we slept well. The staff are very friendly and helpful - they booked us a taxi to Newmarket and offered us late... More

On first look, Worlington Hall hotel is everything you could ask for: set in a quiet, quaint and beautiful location. Our room (Thrush) looked fantastic with a huge comfortable bed and period furnishings. The bathroom, although slightly cold had a stand alone bath which fit well with the 500 year old building. However as the two night stay progressed things... More

Arrived at Worlington Hall Hotel and were asked to pay up front. We'd booked two rooms (3 adults) both rooms in old fashioned style but very dated and tired looking with storage heaters. Our ensuite bathroom was dark with enclosed shower, no mirror and a toilet with loose seat and hardly any loo roll/no spare. Hand basin was located in... More
