Stayed here to go to Newmarket races. I wasn't sure where to park so I went inside to ask where the carp ark was and the barmaid said I had to drive around the one way system to the back of the pub. I did manage to find it but not a lot of space to park. If the people...

I am struggling to find something positive to say about this place. The truth is that it is just a dump. We did book it as it was the only room available on race night at Newmarket but let me explain what £70 gets you. Arrived and took the last parking place in the car park even though there was...

Stayed here for 2 nights. My room was clean mainly. Shower was extremely week though. Food was good especially breakfast. Staff were polite and friendly whilst eating although often difficult to find if needed something. The breakfast was the best experience here. Very fresh and arrived quickly

Stayed here when visiting Newmarket races with my wife. The hotel is very dated and in desperate need of decorating. The beds where awful and felt like you was laying on the floor. The curtains in the room also let through every amount of light possible so when the sun came up at 5am it lit our room up like...

Stayed at the Bell hotel last night, as went to a wedding and needed somewhere to stay locally. First thing before arriving was the staff were helpful and accommodating and arranged for room to be ready for midday, so we could check in and get ready before the wedding, as we were travelling from the West Midlands. When we arrived,...

I stayed her for 2 nights this week and as previous reviews suggest the decor is old but I would not say its dirty but certainly is in need of at least decorating. Because there are no other pubs nearby that are open for a few pints the bar always seems to be busy and the duke box playing very...

Very close to the local shops and supermarket also a nice play park nearby for children. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice...

We were recommended this pub by a doctor we met. It is a 14th century pub with great atmosphere and I didn't bang my head even though I'm well over 6 feet. We were there on a Wednesday which was pie & pud night. The steak & kidney pudding was delicious and very filling. The deserts of sticky toffee pudding...

The moment you enter the property, you feel the time this house has been in the area. It is reflected in the state of the rooms: everything's there, but don't expect five star amenities in this hotel. I very much liked the ambiance, the friendliness of the staff and the way it made me feel at home. Even when I...
