We stayed here 40 years ago and returned to find that it has gone to pieces. Dirty, needing painting, surly service. I just wish we'd read the other reviews before we booked. Do not go whatever you do.

Walked in and walked out. Both booked in two rooms. One room had a carpet in it with stank of urine the other had no carpet. This is a half way house. Once we booked at short notice, they sent us a code for the front door and the door at the hotel. They also tell you their staff come round... More

Where do I start, this is the worst place ever. My room was the old reception area complete with lift ! My bed was pushed up against the lift doors, the lighting was the old reception lighting. The room itself was huge due to the fact it should be a reception area, but this was made worse by having virtually... More

We pre booked and paid for this hotel for two nights 24th and 25th August. There are no staff on site. You have to call their number to book in and get the code to open the room. On entry the room was dirty, mould around the shower cubicle, very stained toilet, curtains hanging off the rails, carpet filthy, towels... More

Although we realise that 'you get what you pay for' the overall state of our room was to put it bluntly, disgraceful. Firstly, in order to open or shut our door we had to use excessive force to do so, the room was dirty; the windows were grimy as was the carpet, the pillows smelt of sweat, the duvet cover... More

This is not a hotel it's a doss house. If however, you are looking for that 1980's smack head squat experience, pay on line and use the door entry codes emailed to you. And add your own Jackson Pollock to the floors or walls every available surface is a canvas. I managed to get into a shower in a nice... More

This Hotel is the most horrific I ever been in. Rotten food, bugs crawling around, cobwebs in every corner of the room with assosiated dead insects, door covered in what looks like spat food, Door architrave loose, water stains on ceiling light, no fitting in light socket, the carpets absolutely shocking with dirt and filth stains, table grease laden and sticky... Worst hotel !!! you could ever want to visit let alone stay in. No hot water in the sink, tv did not work, sheets and towels were dirty (including the whole room and building) curtains not even hanging properly. No wardrobe and the tea cups were so dirty they stuck to the tray. Spoilt what was meant to be a... More
