Stayed once again at the Bayleaf with the lovely Graham and Ros. Warm welcome as ever and really good food. Would recommend the bar snacks, although they were generous enough to qualify as evening meals in my opinion. The ground floor room was handy too. Nicely decorated. The bar is an added bonus for those wanting a drink with their... More

In many ways the Bayleaf is a fairly unremarkable B&B. It's a bit old-fashioned (they ring a bell for breakfast) and the rooms are not particularly modern in decor or facilities. It does however have 2 things going for it that make it into a 4 star B&B in my view. The 1st is the location which is nigh on... More

We were met at the door by Roz and made to feel very welcome, the room was great, the location was brilliant, 1 minute to the railway station, in fact 2 stations, same with the main street with it's abundance of excellent shops, restaurants and pubs. Graham and Roz are great hosts, the breakfasts are 1st. class, with loads of... More

This Guest House is in a great location. It's very close to the beach and town centre. The traditional breakfast was huge and a vegetarian option was available. The rooms were exceptional clean and the beds comfy. You must take a trip on the old Steam Engine which is very near this place.

Thank you for your review. As you mentioned your booking was extremely last minute but we were able to fit you into a twin room. Glad you found the 13 foot by 10 ft room comfy but we have never had it called small. We are glad you enjoyed the collectables they certainly are a talking point. More
