I've stayed at White House Farm twice now, first in August 2010 and most recently in May 2011 (although I've only just got round to posting a review here!), and both stays were excellent. The house is picturesque and comfortable and the owners are friendly, with lots of recommendations for places to visit nearby. Breakfasts are huge but very delicious!... More

This was our first ever experience of B&B and what an absolute delight our stay was. We stayed 3 nights and found hosts, Graham and Catherine very attentive, helpful and had a fantastic knowledge of the surrounding area. Graham even booked dinner for us at a local pub on our first night. Breakfast was first class both in terms of... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. On arrival Graham & Murphy the dog came out to greet us & were both very welcoming. Graham made us a us a pot of tea right away. Booked us a restaurant for that night. He has a restaurant review book that he encourages guests to write in to help future guests. Rooms spotlessly clean... More

This was my 1st time staying in TheGranary Cottage, and it will certainly not be my last. This is a wonderful location, and in a few words - Peaceful, Tranquil, Stunning, Beautiful, Private, Friendly, Clean, Value for Money. There are so many places and adventures to explore in this area, so this part of the UK is a must! We... More

This was our 3rd visit to White House Farm B&B. The owners always make us feel welcome. This time we stayed in the fabulous 4 poster bedroom which was a delight in itself! The homecooked breakfast is second to none and the choice was extensive and is aways accompanied by fresh juice and fruit platter! We also sampled one of... More

My family ( me and my husband, 22yr old daughter, 27yr old daughter and her husband) have just spent a week in Granary Cottage. Pretty cottage with a lovely garden. Kitchen well equipped on the whole, but five chipped and dirty mugs is not good! Good job there was not 6 of us. Also three huge wine glasses and three... More

Great holiday here again (4th time). Always spotless, great location and lovely owners. Stayed in cottage and welcomed with bottle of wine :-) Perfect for families as everything so close by, but also massive garden that can relax, play or BBQ in. Will be back again next year!

We stayed at White House Farm with my parents for a 2 night break and I cannot reccomend it highly enough. The rooms are spotlessly clean, roomy, comfortable and have every amenity you could wish for. Both rooms had en suite facilities (ours had a rool top bath and separate shower cubicle). My parents room had a four poster bed... More

Great location, attentive host and incredible breakfasts. However, check the likely start time of work at the farm at the rear, if in a rear room.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 night break at White House Farm and stayed in the Orton Room. We had the warmest welcome from Mr & Mrs Moorhouse and couldnt have asked for more. We returned to our room to discover Mr Moorhouse had prepared our bottle of champagne in an ice bucket and had left us champagne... More
