This is the best hotel we've stayed at in many years. The food is gourmet and excellent with a good menu which is different each day. Staff are well trained and careful in the present situation. The owner is hands on and takes a personal interest in each client, with a good sense of humour. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. BJP

My wife and I have been to this hotel before and we really liked the experience. When we saw that there was to be a South African Evening we booked the overnight package. The hotel, like last time, was clean and tidy with very friendly staff. The food which was South African themed was plentifull, well presented and well cooked. The hotel had the, by now expected, Covid 19 "one way route" and obligatory mask wearing requirement which is common sense in these unique times. Over all, the charm of this Art Deco hotel along with it's warmth and welcome is a must if you want to stay in the area.

We stayed in one of the garden rooms with our own private jacuzzi and steam room! Because of covid we wanted to to be 100% safe so the staff were happy enough to bring all our meals to us in our hut. Well what can I say but Thank you very much! We were overwhelmed by how kind and lovely the staff were, the room was spotless and we had THE most memorable stay we could. The food was just phenomenal, the quality of ingredients was excellent! The venison we had was something we will never forget, thank you again and keep up the brilliant work everyone! P.s such a shame we live 3 hours away otherwise we would eat there everyday.. It was just lovely!
