Good location for visiting cities and the Norfolk coast and just down the road from Sandringham Castle. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff. Well stocked bar and good restaurant if you want to enjoy an evening in. The hotel is currently having a make-over but it didn't get in the way of a lovely 2 night stay.

Staff were great both on checking in and breakfast, the hotel has limited food menu so we ate in the town. Car parking can be a little tight around the hotel but there is a car park within 200m of the hotel. Breakfast was good, wifi was good, room a little noisy due to tap dancer above!!! But would stay...

The hotel is in need of a complete make-over. People would be happy to pay £20-£30 more for something special, rather than the current rates (I paid £94 for a Double) for something rather dull and mediocre. It's hotels like this that encourage the expansion of the dull, boring but cheaper budget chains - the difference with them being that...

Booked for a family lunch as we were visiting family in the local area. Very impressed by the dairy free menu, as my 11 yr old daughter has allergies which can be difficult, a great choice of mains & all freshly cooked so she was happy. A great menu choice & they even allowed us to order one main that...

Stayed here for four days while on a course with two colleagues. Staff couldn't do enough for you, especially Chris, who seemed to be constantly busy looking after everyone. Building was a bit tired, but not falling apart; just in need of a freshen-up. Walls were a bit thin, but we all agreed that the beds were extremely comfortable, which...

We stayed for one night to visit the Thursford Spectacular. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and took great care to provide my daughter with goats milk and special menu as she is gluten free. We had dinner which was very good value for money and the breakfast was good. Only problem for daughter was that she is also dairy...

stayed here for the 4th year running whilst visiting the Thursford Christmas show and it was without doubt the worst ever visit. Stayed in room 2 which was tired, old fashioned and small, the TV didn't work and 4 small sachets of milk and 1 packet of biscuits for 2 people is just penny pinching and mean. The chap running...

We met old friends and 10 of us stayed at Wensum Lodge Hotel for two nights. The room was right at the top with lots of stairs to climb. No armchair in room, small double bed, bedside light not working. Boiling hot water in bathroom and shower, although looked newish , was very hard to turn on. My husband had...

We had room 17 which was in what is possibly a newer section. It was comfortable with good storage (wardrobe, dressing table with drawers and a case stand). Bathroom fine but wash basin taps could do with new washers which may clear limited flow of hot water in morning. Shower not easy to control either. There was a 40th birthday...
