We were planning a family surprise and needed a convenient stopover. The previous reviews for the Inn were mixed but we wanted a bed with the possibility of a meal. We received a number of pleasant surprises. The Inn is well placed in the village and has a good sized car park. The bar is a little unprepossessing, enter on... More

The room was basic but clean, the staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was lovely and a good amount of it. Only criticism's were that there was no television in the room, an outside window pane was broken ( but had secondary glazing so no drafts ) , the shower was the dribbly type and the mirror in... Me and my other half were looking for a quick stop for a few nights away and we came across this pub BnB. We were struggling for choice after the Royal Norfolk Show took all the hotels that we knew of, and this seemed the best of a bad bunch, for the price of it. To be honest, how mistaken... More

Booked last minute, so I checked in eventually after all the staff saw me come in then still went outside for a smoke first, only then was I seen too. Got to my room, wasn't great but, hey ho, bathroom was carpeted, this meaning the carpet around the toilet was sticky, and rather smelly, The room was grimy, cups dirty... More

When staying at a pub, you don't expect hotel standards but rooms were very cold, with no heating. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom clean but shower did not work and room cleaning was poor at the weekend. Breakfasts excellent and staff friendly.

I stayed here 6-7th May and was very pleasantly surprised. Although the accommodation needs a bit of upgrading, the friendly service of the staff was second to none. I was meeting some friends for dinner at the Bridge Inn at Acle Bridge, about 1.5 miles away and I didn't want to drive. I managed to book a taxi back (Our... More

Under new management (only been there a week) I wanted someone to take my wife (without the children - just us two) I read the reviews online and called ahead to book a table and explain that it's probably the first time we've been out together without children in 15years... Arrived just before 8pm, we were greeted with a smile.... More
