For the price we had high expectations! It was cosy! Not as big as expected but comfortable all the same! Kitchen area was very well equipped, and high standard appliances, everything you would possibly need and more! Living area was well set out! Very cold on arrival and the bedroom had no radiator so asked for an extra heater (by... More

Staffield Hall is a little gem, offering independent accomodation in an idyllic setting, located near to a village with everything you might need. Our accomodation was the Butlers Loft which was a one bedroom apartment which was well furnished and homely. Decorated to a good standard with exceptional countryside views. With easy travel to the lakes we ventured out every... More

This was a fantastic break in the Lake District for our family of four back in October last year. It provided the perfect relaxing stay and base for exploring the lakes and Cumbria. Michael provides full details before you arrive and even when we were lost he directed us to the accommodation late at night. Staffield hall is a very... More

(I have a dislike of leather settees....my problem) So this time opted for Peel Tower. We stayed in Lady Tower, which is quite small but very well furnished. We were delighted to find that it was really thoughtfully fitted out, the kitchen contained everything one could need, the bedroom was very cosy and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with shower and jaccuci bath tub. There was a constant supply of hot water and additional... More

The whole process went very smothly from initial booking to the email with all the info. and door codes. Exceptionally clean and tidy with all you need in the kitchen to cook a full blown dinner. We eat out on our first night there after self catered. The Hall is a grand residence and the flats have been tastefully converted.... More

Just returned from a 3nt short break. We stayed in Peel Tower and thought it was brilliant. Everything that we needed and a little bit more, perfect for what we wanted and you feel as if you have the whole place to yourself. Would go back and recommend to anyone who wants to relax and unwind.

Me and my partner stayed last week for 4 nights on a groupon offer and we loved it. The grounders were beautiful and the accommodation was cosey and clean. The apartments have everything you will need. You must print your email of confirmation off as its unmanned and you will need codes to access the areas. Would recommend

Pleased you enjoyed the grounds at Staffield Hall we keep working on these and each year they improve that little bit more. We've put in new bench seating just recently so folks can relax and enjoy the view. Thanks for staying with us More
