I stayed at this hotel in December 2014 during the Polar Night. The hotel is the 3rd stop on the Airport Bus. It drops you right outside the hotel and picks you up there as well. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They seemed to know everything about all of the tours...

Hotel was very close to the Town ...a 5 minute walk across the road , the Town is very small so don't be worried about noise etc we had 3 really good sleeps there. The room was spacious and very clean. The bar was good but does get busy at weekend and there aren't many tables if you plan to...

I had originally booked a room in the Spitsbergen Hotel on a hotel booking website, and was E-mailed to say that my booking had be transferred to the Radisson Blu Hotel, at the same price, as it was in the dark season. Hence the value was very good, and less than if I had made my original booking with the...

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is one of the best Hotel in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The bar is one of the few places to hang out and have drinks with frinds..They have sometime live Music too. Pizza is good and is above expectation.

This hotel was built in the mid 90s with elemts that was used for the Olympics at Lillihammer. The hotel have a great location in the center of the city (village), the restaurant is also good, and you have a pub with good burgers etc. The hotel is however its age, and it do need a refreshment pretty soon if...

We have visited Spitsbergen several times and also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. This time we were really happy about the great service during our three course meal. We had dinner in the restaurant on our last night in Longyearbyen. A few hours later I got sick and started to vomit. The last night in Longyearbyen was awful thanks to...

Considering the extreme location of Longyearbyen, this hotel does a remarkable job of providing warmth, comfort, food and drink. We found the facilities a bit dated, but nice in general. Front desk was responsive to our needs and the breakfast buffet rivals that of any I've had anywhere. The bar scene at night is lively enough to remind one of...

Stayed here for a weekend, and had a very good experience except for bad tv-reception in the rooms, and the bald receptionist was terrible at customer service, everything i asked seemed like it bothered him. Food was good and the service in the bar was exceptional.

Svalbard is just a place you should go! And when going, this is a nice hotel to stay at. Centrally located, acceptable restaurant (but not great) and a nice pub. You do not go to Svalbard for a luxury hotel, but when the Olympic athletes could stay in these rooms in 1994, it should be good enough for you
