#4 of 63 B&Bs / Inns in Tinos
Having a name inspired by Greek mythology, modern VOREADES is meant to generously offer you the Cycladic hospitality with modern amenities and services. Following the standards of the "boutique hotels" throughout the word, the owner's personal style, clearly influenced by the style of the Cycladic architecture with its stone and hidden corners dominating all over the building, VOREADES is a charming lodging that will surprise you pleasantly. Choose one of the twelve elegant and fully equipped rooms, either with balcony overlooking the sea and the nearby islands or with direct access to our Cycladic style stone courtyard. Each room offers: individual bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, orthopedic mattresses, TV, radio, phone, safe box and hair dryer. Free wi-fi covers the entire building. In our stylish and unique “breakfast salon” that gently touches art and culture you will enjoy a breakfast buffet that also includes homemade and local products and while having a view to the sea and the island of Syros you will be informed of the things you can do to discover the magnificent island of religion, art and natural beauty. Voreades, is ideally situated in the town of Tinos, on a quiet street above the main port and the central bus station and just a stone’s throw away from the center of the town with all the taverns, coffee shops the bars and the numerous shops of the commercial Evagelistrias street that leads you to the famous temple «Panagia Megalohari of Tinos».

We were able to book at the last minute and it was well worth it. Very well managed small hotel well furnished and friendly. Hope to visit again. A few minutes to the centre and port. Buss station very near, but far enough from centre to be very quiet.

Two weeks after the second vaccination and with certificate in hand, I got on the boat to Tinos—perfect island to evaluate a new normal—and of course my lodging of choice, Voreades. Lost count of how many times I have stayed with Maro and Kosmas, but staying with them guarantees welcoming experiences, impeccably cleaned rooms, information on what is culturally happening on Tinos, information on car rentals, condition of roads, new and old restaurants—they anticipate our queries and are always prepared. All of this happens in the midst of a garden full of seasonal blooms, bougainvillea and pots of geraniums interspersed with folk art pieces from local artists: mosaics, fanlights, decorative marble pieces and more. Give them a try and you will be back time and again when on Tinos!

A lovely room on the ground floor with a private courtyard. Spotlessly clean (buffed and fluffed by Maro) with nice linen and amenities. Strong high speed WiFi, lots of hot water with good pressure (not always the case on the islands!), mini-fridge, reading lights by the bed, everything we needed for a nice stay. Air-conditioning works well---quiet and effective. And our hosts? Wow, just the best people you can meet. There's a lot to see and do on Tinos, and Kosmos seems to know everyone, and is most helpful in arranging trips, wine tastings, recommending restaurants, etc. We have stayed at the Voreades many times and recommended it to our friends---who also have nothing but good things to say about the lodging and hosts. Great breakfast (pre-pandemic), but now you get a discount for breakfast at two nearby places.

We were the first guests to visit once Greece opened back up. Kosmas and Maria were so very welcoming and friendly. They were very interested in making sure that we were completely taken care of. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and what a great view from our balcony! Breakfast was fresh and delicious with Maria preparing special fresh dishes. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly!

A beautiful little hotel with clean and nicely decorated rooms and suites. Mr Kosmos and his family are very friendly and helpful. The place is very close to the center of the city and the port. Perfect to explore the town. We could not have made a better choice and highly recommend the Voreades.

We stayed here 3 nights, walking the island. Kosmas and his mother, Mara, who run the place on their own, are beautiful and gracious hosts. Kosmas provided excellent recommendations for food and entertainment (lots of local festivals). Room was clean, comfy bed, plenty of hot water. Balcony with a view. Everything promised was delivered.
