A gem in the heart of Tinos town. You will be served from grandparents to grandchildren wholeheartedly. The extended breakfast buffet is lovingly prepared by an armata of local ladies. Onar hotel and suites sets the standards in Greek hospitality. Do not miss it!
Nice traditional Cycladic hotel. Located five minute walking distance to Tinos town center. Charming family hotel. The room was renovated. Very cozy, clean , comfortable and quiet room with balcony. The owner and the staff was very friendly.
We’ve just spent a week at Onar in Tinos and it was the perfect base for an easy relaxing week away. This is a charming family run hotel. Despina, Susan and colleagues offer the most wonderful kind hospitality - not to mention an amazing breakfast! We were really sad to leave. We hired a car for a couple of days to get into the hills behind the main town and on beach days, walked about 25 mins across town to the beach next to town, strolling back at leisure in time for dinner. It was simple and perfect! Rooms are immaculately clean, simple and unfussy - a very classic Cyclades feel.
What a find!!! Thank you Despina for making our stay so wonderful. And how can I overlook Sue and her friends and colleagues for the superb breakfasts? Absolutely fabulous. Thank you all for making stay in Tinos even more special
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt disappointment that we had to cut our stay short by a day in order to avoid a 24-hour ferry strike. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that room choice is important as there are wide variances in differences between some of the rooms. Fortunately, we were in a gorgeous and large room adjacent to the pool. Susan was particularly welcoming and she makes breakfast pastries and pies from scratch. The walk into town with shopping and restaurants was pleasant and only took about 5 minutes. All in all, we had a great stay here and would definitely stay again should our travels ever take us back to Tinos.
