Travelers' Choice
Infinity Blue Boutique Hotel & Spa is set on the sandy beach at Hersonissos, a resort on the northern coast of Crete. The hotel, which welcomes guests aged 16 and over, has gardens and trees around the pool, plus a spa where you can relax. The hotel's décor is minimal and Scandinavian in style. The buffet restaurant is on the top floor and has views out over Hersonissos and the bay of Malia. The hotel also has a restaurant right on the boardwalk, from where you can stroll, jog or cycle along the modern promenade that stretches the length of the resort. There are tavernas lining the walkway where you can stop for a drink. The center of the popular resort of Hersonissos is a short stroll away and has plenty of places to eat and drink. In the evening you'll find some of the liveliest nightlife on the island in the resort's bars and nightclubs, some of which stay open into the early hours. The resort has a variety of beaches, with the calmest waters to the sheltered west of the small port, and small coves with fine sand and rock formations to the east.

Arrived just before midnight to a smiling friendly receptionist who got us checked in quickly and took us to our double room. As it was late it was lovely to be greeted with 2 plates of cold hams/cheeses/bread and some fruit in our room which was a lovely thought. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage space with an opening side bed draw. The mattress and pillows are the most comfiest we have ever had in a hotel, and an almost floor length mirror in living area. There was also a single bed in the room which was handy. Air con was quite noisy, but we got used to it and as it was so hot end of July it was necessary. A small fridge (free) for our drinks and safe (couldn't get it to work, but Im sure If we had asked staff would have shown us) Standard size balcony with chairs and table, we only used it for the towel rack for our towels as with the air con unit being on the balcony, it produced too much heat for us to sit out. The pool is quite large with plenty of sunbeds for everying, no-one 'bags' their beds which is refreshing! Several bali beds, and chair areas in the shade. 2 beds have a fixed parasol attached, with a table and bell to press for pool service. Pool bar has a wide selection of really tasty food, with a long sushi list and cocktail list at average prices.Bathroom lovely, large mirror, and a magnifying mirror for shaving/makeup (lights up) Shower is amazing, rainfall, powerful, large enough for 2 people, just place a small towel at the end to catch the drips, there is also a hand held showerhead available. 3 little nice smelling body shower gels and a small soap available. Plenty of toilet roll (remember to put in bin, not flush) and a handheld showerhead instead of bidet. We didnt get much noise from other guest in the room we had with it being an end room. Nice views on the 2nd floor of the pool area, and we could also just see the see from the side. Cleaners very efficient and would come in daily unless you put your 'Do not disturb' sign on door. Kettle, cups, and some basic coffee sachets (no teabags, but had brought own anyway, and Im sure they would provide if asked). Buffet breakfast and evening meal were of a very high standard. Breakfast had everything you would need, lovely breads, donuts, even carrots and tuna if you preferred! A wide range of juices, teas, coffees. The staff are very attentive and come over to you quickly on an evening to take your drinks order. Breakfast was 7-10.30 I think, and evening meal 6.30-9 I think. Tables inside and out. All reception staff are very pleasant always saying good morning or evening. A very welcome water dispenser with lemons in at the entrance for you to have a quick glass when coming in or out, we also topped up our drinks bottle for the pool. Gym was small but adequate had what you needed for a workout, but was very hot inside, as no air-con there. Leaflets available for tours.etc. Hotel is in an excellent location, right next door to a large supermarket (open til 11pm most nights) andwithin a few metres away from bars, restaurants. We frequented Starlight for food and drinks and was very good, and went to Shenanigans several times for drinks. There quite a lot of european young people at the hotel and resort during our stay end of July, they are quite loud, but this might only be during certain months/weeks. It was my 50th birthday when we were there so reception booked us a taxi and we went to old hersonnisis which was lovely, completely different to the main town, and we went to a lovely restaurant called Taverna Harakas we had a 2 course meal for 2 with a decent wine for 60 euros, service was great, no rushing us in between courses, very friendly, food amazing. Only cost us 10 euros in a taxi. We also booked the 4hr train trip from Hersonnisis port was 24 euros each, took us up to the hills, and we saw loads of the area we would usually miss. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for its amazing staff, lovely rooms and lovely food/drink

The Infinity Blue Hotel is excellent. It is pristine. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. ROOMS ?151 The room we had was spacious. It had a king size bed and a single bed. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable and the aircon a treat. It was very modern and cleaned every day. There is a fridge which can be used for your drinks/chocolate etc. Our balcony overlooked the pool and got the sun in the morning but was in the shade in the afternoon and evening which was great. In the bathroom the shower pressure was really good there was an illuminated shaving mirror, hairdryer and toiletries. RESTAURANT We were on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was a buffet. I have never seen such a wide variety of food on offer. I challenge anyone to say anything bad about it. Things were refreshed quickly so everything was fresh. A LA CARTE We had one meal there (only because there are so many restaurants to choose from) It was good, the staff were lovely. POOLSIDE/SHISHA BAR These guys work very hard and are lovely. Lorenzo seems to never stop! Again very good. The pool itself was a bit on the small side but there were plenty of sunbeds/umberellas. They had a button for waiter service. RECEPTION We arrived early morning and the boy who took us to our room was lovely as were all the reception staff who never failed to smile and greet us whenever we passed by. They were very helpful and knowledgable. GYM/MASSEUSE I have to be honest and admit I would rather stick pins in my eyes than go to a gym but for those who are interested it is there as are massage services. The masseuse is there everyday. LOCATION Couldn't ask for better. The Infinity Blue has the benefit of being towards the end of the promenade which has door to door restaurants/bars and shops without having the noise. It looks on to Captain G's Restaurant which is on the promenade. So whilst you don't walk straight out onto it the promenade it and the beach is 2 mins walk away. Literally look/turn left as you leave the hotel and the beach is metres away. Once at the beach turn right and walk along to the port. Pass the port and the promenade is full of restaurants/shops and bars. The Cozy beach, Ammas are good restaurants. The main road/strip in the opposite direction is a 5 minute walk away. Turn right when you come out of the hotel then left and continue until you reach the main road. Lots of shops/restaurants/bars are here. Some bars have live music. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Public transport is easy and cheap. The bus to Heraklion has stops in Gouves, Creta Aquarium, the Heraklion airport and terminates in Heraklion. The bus are new and have aurcon and aee very comfortable. It cost €6.40 for 2 of us to go to Heraklion (1 way). If you take the bus in the opposite direction it goes to Malia. GUIDED TOURS There are any number of operators. We used Sealand and went on 3 tours as we were there for 14 days. 1. Spinalong, bbq and Agios Nikol

Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2022. Our deluxe junior suite was perfect for us as we could sit out on the balcony on an evening with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The staff were extremely helpful and the room cleaned every day. We stayed half board and the food was delicious with choices for everyone. The pool area great and just a few short steps to the sea so we could swim early morning.

Me and a friend stayed here for 5 nights after had been in Athens. We arrived early at about 8am but we’re able to use the facilities. The first room we got showed to was a double but we had booked a twin. The girl from reception soon sorted this out for us and all of reception were always very helpful and friendly. One thing I was very shocked about was having to pay €10 for a sunbed on the hotels private beach. Never have I been to a hotel that makes you pay for their sunbeds on the beach - that was a bit of a joke so we stayed by the pool for the most part as we thought that was ridiculous. We were half board, the breakfast was nice but we got a bit bored of the dinner after 5 nights, it was the same every night so mix up at all. Nice but would have been good to have something other than chicken and salad every night! One thing I did want to bring up was that there was a very rude manager always stomping around bossing his staff around and shouting at them in front of guests. Granted, I can’t speak Greek but you can tell by peoples body language and tone of voice. I think he might have been the F&B manager? The staff in the restaurant were young but I thought they were doing a good job especially as they seemed very understaffed but shouting at staff in front of guests is not professional nor is it going to motivate your staff. This is a huge reason for my 3 stars and not 4, he was very unprofessional and always looked grumpy stomping around the place. It would help his team a lot more if he did some work rather than shout and boss everyone around. Other than that one manager and the 10€ beach beds, it was a lovely hotel and I would recommend.

From the first welcome to the last goodbye the staff could not be more helpful always smiling and happy to chat. Food was of excellent quality and service was always friendly freshly cooked food and even pizzas. Rooms cleaned daily. The entire resort there was always staff on hand to speak to if you had a problem or any issues even if you just wanted to no how to get to the next town. We never tried the a- la-carte restaurant so can’t really comment on it wasn’t sure if we could eat in there ie did we get concessions or do we pay full price. all in all a place I would highly recommend to friends and family. Infinity blue thanks for a wonderful holiday, and for making our anniversary special. Already rebooked for next year ,see you all again soon.

Not a single criticism of this hotel. Staff were the best I’ve encountered in any hotel. Friendly. Smiling, and can’t do enough for you. All areas are absolutely spotless, food is good, plenty of choice for vegetarians . Rooms and all areas are tastefully furnished. This is my second stay here and I’m looking forward to next time 😊

First holiday abroad in over ten years and we plumped for this hotel after reading many reviews. Loved it. The hotel is about two minutes walk from the beach, has a good buffet style restaurant with a wide selection of food, changing day to day. Greek music and dancing is put on each Tuesday here and is very entertaining The hotel is kept very clean and tidy and there is a luscious sun bed and pool area with a cocktail bar. There is a small ‘hump-back’ bridge here over the pool which may be difficult to cross if you aren’t too steady on your feet as it’s steep getting on and off. I can not praise the staff at this hotel enough. They are outstanding! Friendly, helpful and happy to help you with any question or issue you may have. We had a small problem with the room lock and another with the spa bath - both of which were sorted immediately. Excellent. The beach near this lovely venue has an array of bars, restaurants and convenience stores and it’s a short walk to the town centre. You can arrange boat excursions and other trips from the hotel liaison or a local business. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we’d definitely go back if we returned to Crete.

Lovely hotel, right on the beach. Rooms are excellent (we stayed in the Junior Suites) and the staff could not be more helpful. Only minor negative was the breakfast. Whilst the selection was extensive, the "hot" section was lukewarm at best. If they fixed this the hotel would be perfect.
