Infinity Blue Boutique Hotel & Spa is set on the sandy beach at Hersonissos, a resort on the northern coast of Crete. The hotel, which welcomes guests aged 16 and over, has gardens and trees around the pool, plus a spa where you can relax. The hotel's décor is minimal and Scandinavian in style. The buffet restaurant is on the top floor and has views out over Hersonissos and the bay of Malia. The hotel also has a restaurant right on the boardwalk, from where you can stroll, jog or cycle along the modern promenade that stretches the length of the resort. There are tavernas lining the walkway where you can stop for a drink. The center of the popular resort of Hersonissos is a short stroll away and has plenty of places to eat and drink. In the evening you'll find some of the liveliest nightlife on the island in the resort's bars and nightclubs, some of which stay open into the early hours. The resort has a variety of beaches, with the calmest waters to the sheltered west of the small port, and small coves with fine sand and rock formations to the east.

Detailed Reviews
We arrived early afternoon and after quick check in we went to our room, we paid extra for a full sea view but, unfortunately, our room looked onto another block of the hotel, only seeing the sea if you went to the end of the balcony. We went back to reception and asked for a room that we paid for. We were then showed another room which was far bigger with a smaller balcony in another block, the view was far better but I'm still not convinced it's what we paid for, we took the room, but had to wait for it to be cleaned.
We went for a short walk then returned and our room was ready. It had a double bed and a single and was really spacious. It had tea and coffee which was replenished when needed, iron and ironing board, free safety deposit safe, a television, a mini fridge and plenty of space to put away your clothes etc. The bathroom was spacious and there was a hand held shower as well as an overhead one. The only negative was that we found the bed and pillows hard and lumpy, resulting in a poor nights sleep.
We were half board and breakfasts were basically the same every morning, coffee was weak, omelettes were plain everyday and the cooked food was basically cold. The evening meals offered more choice, but over the two weeks the same food was offered. There is enough choice to suit most people but again most of the food was cold or warmish. The only hot food we had was soup and freshly made pizza. I noticed the food was kept on hot plates at only 4 or 5 degrees so obviously not hot, and you were putting your food onto cold and sometimes wet plates.
We had Greek dancing one night in the restaurant which meant a loss of some tables and it got really full at times.
The pool area had a bar serving drinks and snacks and there were plenty of sunbeds,
meaning that at whatever time you went you usually got one, although not always in the sun though. In this area there was also a small gym and a massage booth.
The hotel lacked an entertainment area and also a night time bar, also there were stray cats in the hotel, some drinking from the pool and others in the restaurant where guests were feeding them putting plates down on the floor, not very hygienic.
Overall, the hotel was clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, with a special mention to our room cleaner who kept our room spotless.
I've mentioned a few negatives but they can be simply rectified, like providing hot food and keeping cats out of the restaurant. The positives outnumber the negatives as it's in an ideal location and we would stay at the hotel again.

We chose Infinity Blue Hotel to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and lively. Our room was spectacular, originally booked 2 separate room for our family of 5 members. Upon check-in they offered us a suite. The suite was Amazing! With an massive balcony with a jacuzzi and shower. The suite was clean. Loved it. Would definitely stay again if visiting Crete. Would recommend staying half board, there breakfast and dinner range is 10/10 different selections for dinner every night and was really tasty and beverage selection was also good.
Thak you Infinity Blue Team ❤️

Stayed here 6/10/22 for a week and what a great holiday. We had requested a twin room as it was a girlie holiday but on arrival we had a double room, however, this was rectified for us and we even got upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi in the garden. :)
I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel it was far better than I anticipated.
The rooms were excellent & had good quality furnishings, finished to a lovely standard and had free AC, safe, iron & ironing board, tea, coffee & fruit teas, mini fridge.
The beds were super comfy with good quality linen. The shower was amazing in both rooms we had, far superior to any I have had in previous hotels.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and everything was of a high standard. The pool area & sunbeds were lovely and there was no fight for sunbeds! There are call buttons on the parasol if you are too chilled to walk to the poolside bar and want the order taken at your subbed and delivered to you.
A 2 minute walk gets you to the beach which is clean and sunbeds easily available. We paid 10 euros for 2 comfy beds and a parasol but there are some a little cheaper further up the beach but by using the ones in front of the hotel you have access to clean toilets and waiter service on the beach if you want it.
The food was great with lots of choice (the baklava was divine!) and the dining area is spotlessly clean. There is an option to eat in or out for breakfast or evening meal.
The hotel is very peaceful as it's adults only. It has a small gym and a spa area.
The hotel is a short walk from various bars and restaurants & the small harbour.
I can't finish the review without mentioning the staff who all do their best to make your stay a really enjoyable one. They work hard and always have a smile on their faces and are really lovely.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and I would love to go back again and for a longer stay next time.
Thank you to all at Infinity Blue x

On the positives, staff were friendly, bedrooms kept clean and tidy, massages fab and location to the beach perfect.
Slightly more negative, breakfast choice poor, with hot options often cold and coffee undrinkable. Staff friendly but service a bit slow.
We never used the pool area as there was much more breeze on the beach. Towels for sun beds were chargeable by the hotel, as were the loungers on the beach.
Should be categorised as 3 star - definitely masquerading as a 4 star.

This hotel is just lovely, very clean with friendly staff. We were half board and the little buffet restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals had plenty of choice, was spotless and well staffed. The pool area is just perfect with lots of beds and chill out areas and even has waiter srvice. The pool isnt very nig but when its adult only is was just right. The private bech area was small and cute and again waiter service, there is a charge for the sun beds there though but worth it. We didnt have a meal in the al le carte restaurant but did have snacks and drinks from there which were nice and right on the beach front. Our room was partical sea view which is just what we got, sea view one side, mountains at the other but did over look some waste land, nice balcony area though. The room was very modern and claen and had everything you needed and was cleaned and fresh towels everyday. We didnt use the spa or gym but we did see them and the spa looked amazing. The area is perfect, nice an quite with a couple of shops and restuarants on the sea front, then just a 5 minute walk around the corner was the busy resort are with bechfront bars, restaurants and a main road full of shops. I highly recommend this hotel.

Me and a friend stayed here for 5 nights after had been in Athens. We arrived early at about 8am but we’re able to use the facilities.
The first room we got showed to was a double but we had booked a twin. The girl from reception soon sorted this out for us and all of reception were always very helpful and friendly.
One thing I was very shocked about was having to pay €10 for a sunbed on the hotels private beach. Never have I been to a hotel that makes you pay for their sunbeds on the beach - that was a bit of a joke so we stayed by the pool for the most part as we thought that was ridiculous.
We were half board, the breakfast was nice but we got a bit bored of the dinner after 5 nights, it was the same every night so mix up at all. Nice but would have been good to have something other than chicken and salad every night!
One thing I did want to bring up was that there was a very rude manager always stomping around bossing his staff around and shouting at them in front of guests. Granted, I can’t speak Greek but you can tell by peoples body language and tone of voice. I think he might have been the F&B manager? The staff in the restaurant were young but I thought they were doing a good job especially as they seemed very understaffed but shouting at staff in front of guests is not professional nor is it going to motivate your staff. This is a huge reason for my 3 stars and not 4, he was very unprofessional and always looked grumpy stomping around the place. It would help his team a lot more if he did some work rather than shout and boss everyone around.
Other than that one manager and the 10€ beach beds, it was a lovely hotel and I would recommend.

Really delicious buffet. Nice staff really helpful with all our needs. Clean spacious rooms. For me bathroom cleanliness is really important and they did not disappoint amazing value for price. We had a jacuzzi inside our room and it was a great time (: the outside pool area looked like a great time for summer, was too cold for us to go in April (; I love a good unlimited breakfast dinner service and they did not disappoint! Great selection of fruit as well.

First holiday abroad in over ten years and we plumped for this hotel after reading many reviews. Loved it.
The hotel is about two minutes walk from the beach, has a good buffet style restaurant with a wide selection of food, changing day to day. Greek music and dancing is put on each Tuesday here and is very entertaining
The hotel is kept very clean and tidy and there is a luscious sun bed and pool area with a cocktail bar. There is a small ‘hump-back’ bridge here over the pool which may be difficult to cross if you aren’t too steady on your feet as it’s steep getting on and off.
I can not praise the staff at this hotel enough. They are outstanding! Friendly, helpful and happy to help you with any question or issue you may have. We had a small problem with the room lock and another with the spa bath - both of which were sorted immediately. Excellent.
The beach near this lovely venue has an array of bars, restaurants and convenience stores and it’s a short walk to the town centre. You can arrange boat excursions and other trips from the hotel liaison or a local business.
One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we’d definitely go back if we returned to Crete.

This is a honest review from seasoned travellers.
We normally use 4,5,6 star hotels infinitely blue is a 4star Greek hotel , modern and clean .
Positives :
Friendly Staff .. George the pool barman hats off to you mate , hard working and very attentive.
We stayed B&B , Breakfast was superb, hot or cold catered for all tastes.
Pool area generally quiet, plenty of comfortable sun beds in a nice setting.
Bad Points :
Our room was partial sea view, small but adequate but not enough storage space for two people . We were on the 3rd floor unfortunately that would mean not cleaned before 4pm. The bathroom really let the accommodation down for a modern hotel. Cracks in the shower tiles and what I can only describe as a cheep £5 Amazon plastic shower head accompanied with a plastic shower curtain that attaches itself to you when turning … water everywhere, something I would expect in a 2 star Blackpool hotel … not good enough and certainly not 4 star standard.
I had an issue with the kettle.. most kettles turn themselves off when boiled, this one didn’t. I reported this and the receptionist had a look and said “why don’t you just turn it off” Really!! Health & Safety Lady … anyhow it was replaced with a nice new pink one … the faulty kettle left in the room the whole week and not thrown out. I would not be surprised if it was still there .
Our flight back was not until midnight but check out is 11am we asked several times if we could pay to keep the room on until 6pm. Was told no as the hotel was fully booked but could keep the room until 1pm … poor very poor . Never had this problem before ever . Having googled rooms to book on our final day there were plenty of vacancies and when you think our room was never cleaned before 4pm and other rooms later it makes you wonder … maybe because I complained about the Kettle, who knows.
Won’t be going back.
More suited for the Man Bag brigade.

I am staying at Infinity Blue now, I have stayed here twice before, but I have never seen it this busy, lots of younger guests, groups of young men in the pool, I was worried it was going to be very noisy & yes it is, but it’s happy noise, lovely to see them enjoying themselves. I did worry about noise at night when we were in our room, but didn’t need to worry could not hear a thing, I had asked for a quiet room in the block facing the pool, my husband has only just been allowed to travel after being seriously ill for the last 2 years & needs to be able to rest, thank you to Nikos & Georgia they must have been thinking not another email from this woman! They sorted us a room in the requested block, second floor corner room with a pool & sea view, our room is immaculately clean, as is all the hotel, comfy bed, coffee & tea, fridge, iron & ironing board, the bathroom is a good size with a great shower, lots of toiletries & big fluffy towels, we are bed & breakfast, great choice of hot & cold food, lovely dinning area, friendly staff.
I would always choose Infinity Blue when visiting Crete, lovely hotel, great location, beach, bars, restaurants, shops, all close to the hotel, the best thing about this hotel is the staff, always friendly, so helpful.
Once again thank you to Nikos & Georgia for making our holiday perfect!

North East England, United Kingdom174 contributions122 helpful votesHi, I would like to know if the hotel provides shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms, I read that some hotels have stopped providing these items. We are arriving there in about 2 weeks and it seems daft to carry extra shampoo etc if it is already provided.
Thanks in advance
In our room there was am olive oil based soap dispenser at the shower and basin. It was a very nice product
I did not use the spa service, but a 10-minute massage is included in the price I paid
