I did the facial treatment by Kostantina and I cant remember the last time I was so relaxed. Because I had so much dead skincells on my face the treatment made me look much better after she was done. I really enjoyed the products they used and Iorkida was so kind and explained how it works for the skin. Recommend if you want to treat your skin and get a massage too!
Arrived mid afternoon for a 2 night stay, formalities were quickly completed. Went to our room and found that we ad an upgrade from Garden view to Full Seaview. Surprised to find that although a Kettle and mugs were supplied there were no ingredients for Tea or Coffee. Telephoned Reception and was told that tea and coffee were not normally supplied but within a few minutes a young lady turned up with Coffee, sugar sachets and milk. As we were on "all inclusive" I guess we could have gone to the bar for our refreshments. Food was excellent with a good selection of dishes each Lunch and Dinner. Breakfasts consisted of a vast amount of food, ( if two people are sitting at a Small Rectangular table you will have trouble getting all the dishes for breakfast on the table.) I look forward to future visits. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, service was excellent, but this was End of Season.…
I stayed at Glaros beach hotel with my mom. The staff was amazingly warm and so kind hearted. I got sick because of my asthma. The kitchen staff brought my food to the room and also chopped ginger into fine pieces, so my mom could make ginger tea. I felt welcomed and secured. The interior of the superior room, gave me comfort as well, the warm styling of wood combining with light blue shades, got me immediately into relaxing mode(well thought about the colors). The variety of food is surprisingly good, they even had vegan cheese and almond milk! Choices for everyone who has a different eating style. If we asked for something particular, they grill it in a second. They where so gentle and nice, that we even talked about it with a friend who whe met, and also stayed at Glaros Beach, how amazingly there services are. And definitely a place to come back too. I usually don't write reviews but I just had to share this outstanding service I got, while I was staying at Glaros Beach in Crete. Glaros Beach Hotel.…
We loved the staff and waiters but the dining room is way too noisy, packed and bright. The music has been challenging. But overall average good buffet food. All-inclusive guests will receive tapped water and local beer/wine only it seemed. Very noisy even inside the ground floor rooms from the reception where all the internet surfers hang around. Normal internet is an extra. Bathroom way to small for **** and no powersocket to be found either. The shampoo was a joke and the sink doesn't keep the water when closed. But overall nice location for deaf people.
Lovely hotel and great location, very nicely decorated, with comfortable rooms. Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant food - good but a little monotonous after a week. The veranda restaurant is great to use for lunch, and the beach is right on the doorstep, although we didn’t use it for the beds just swimming, usual saga to claim the best sun beds every morning, and one half of the pool is in the shade until mid afternoon. Overall though, a great hotel that we will recommend and probably use again.
It was a really beautiful sweet hotel ☺️ The owners treat us like family. Never seen before such a kind & good service. My girlfriend and me felt like home at our families! The room was clean, modern and had a beautiful view to the ocean ! The hotel was for us a the best quiet place 3 min by walk from the port. Beautiful beach in front of the hotel. Best beach @IOs for us. Our breakfast was handmade and fresh every morning 😍 We will come again ! For sure ! :)) Thanks a lot for the lovely time here
Due to Corona circumstances we booked this hotel through our travel agency on short term, without knowing that Chersonissos is a party city, even though we told our agency that we prefer a quiet location with a nice beach to chill at. Well, the hotel itself is absolutely ok. The food at the restaurant was really good. A lot of delicious dishes and a lot of variations for breakfast or dinner. The personal was always absolutely friendly and helpful. The room service was excellent. But we couldn´t use the pool because it was always crowded by young people, who started partying early in the morning. Super loud and just noisy. During the night same story, many young people didn´t respect that maybe other people want to sleep and were partying in their rooms and sometimes on the floor. One night the receptionist had to take away a trumpet played in the middle of the night ON THE FLOOR! That was really annoying! Of course, not the fault of the hotel. The only no-go: sitting on the balcony in the evening was impossible. We didn´t use the air conditioning but HELL, was it generators or the other air conditionings? EXTREMELY loud to sit outside. The beach was quiet small but by the end of the day it is the best part of the beach compared to the rest of the city. You have to pay 8,50 € for 2 chairs & umbrella, irrelevant of the time you come or how long yo use of it. As it is also used from other hotel guests. We ESCAPED as much as possible. Even though we paid for dinner. We preferred to have dinner at other restaurants and every evening had drinks at the Beach Club of the Akasha hotel. Here we enjoyed our evenings at the sea with a quiet atmosphere and super service. We made a half day trip to Agios Nikolaos, as super pretty city at the East coast and a half day trip to Heraklion city, super nice bars and restaurants.…
This hotel actually should get a five start review, but unfortunately, they came short in several areas. Positives: - Very Clean - Some staff was VERY friendly - The hotel is simply beautiful - The food was not bad, and often quite good. - The chef went out of his way to individually prepare food for my diet. - Best airconditioning I ever had. They have new inverter Airco units. - Room was newly renovated, beautiful and clean. - Housekeeping was (sometimes) good. - Location is outstanding! - Entertainment was excellent (even though limited by Covid). Negatives: - Some of the staff was NOT friendly. - The free WIFI in the lobby was terrible - There were Dutch guests aged 16 - 21 who at times were out of control. Noise in the hallway until 5am. Ghetto-blasters at the pool. The issue was that the hotel management was afraid to tell them to behave. I can appreciate it - as when I simply asked them to wear a mask in the hallway (in Dutch), they aggressively verbally attacked me. - I had wanted to upgrade my room, but the receptionist simply didn't have the time to treat me properly. In retrospect, I'm happy I didn't upgrade, given the noise. The manager explained at the end of my visit that they would have moved me to a more appropriate room...(potentially to another hotel)... but honestly, I didn't go on vacation to keep packing my bags and moving from place to place. - There are only two elevators for 200 room. Each elevator has only capacity for 2 people. They have no service elevators, so the maids use the same two elevators. For 2.5 days, one of the elevators was broken. It was really not a good situation.…
Went here with my boyfriend end of august and beginning of september. Wouldnt have booked the place if my trip to the canary islands wasnt cancelled because of the covid situation. Food is really good, really nice employees aswell. The cleaning can better, especially the toilets in and round the building. We recommend this place and probably come back.
There's nothing bad to say about this hotel to be honest. As we're in the middle of coronavirus pandemic I was concerned about the hygiene procedures but they were spot on at Glaros. The rooms we're clean, housekeeping came twice during our 5 day stay and we had our towels changed 3 times. There's nothing particularly special about the rooms but they are nice, comfortable and what I expected from the pictures I saw. We had a seaview room that had a delightful view over the ocean especially at sunrise & sunset. The sound of waves can get quite loud, as the sea at that point can get pretty vigorous but when you're in the room with the door closed it's very quiet and doesn't disturb at all. Breakfast has a decent selection so you won't get bored and tastes as good as breakfast can taste. Currently they have staff to serve all food, due to coronavirus, even though it is set out buffet style. There wasn't that many people at breakfast at the times when I went so this was never an issue and the space was always kept clean and tidy. The pool area, restaurant and sun terraces were all well kept and clean, more than enough sunbeds for everyone, although I'd imagine in normal times it might be different but I enjoyed the reduced number of guests as it made my stay so much more pleasant and relaxing. The staff were always pleasant, helpful and not intrusive and the other guests were all really chilled. Some of the facilities were closed, like the gym & spa, but this was to be expected during the pandemic. The hotel is well placed to get to all the hustle & bustle of Hersonissos; being just off the main road with many shops, bars and eateries while also being on the coast path where you can walk along to "the strip" for more bars and restaurants within 5 mins. Other resorts like Stalis and Malia are really close as well, about 10 mins for Stalis & 20 mins for Malia (we hired a quad bike to get around but a taxi to these places cost about 15 euros). I found this hotel last minute (and booked the night before we travelled) so I was hoping I hadn't booked a nightmare and I was happy with what we got. All in all this is a good hotel that I can't really fault, at decent price and I'd recommend to anyone.…
