Won’t go back. Not for singles! Lots of kids no adult only section really loud with kids screaming. I’m a single gay young man and I felt uncomfortable eating alone, tanning alone, the hotel was nice to upgraded me to a bigger room for free but there was no escaping the kids!

I booked Hotel Arminda as a surprise break for my wifes 30th birthday. I am so glad I choose this destination. What an amazing hotel. Staff were excellent, they could not do enough. The hotel itself was immaculate and really well maintained. The room was spacious and modern. A great variety of food that was always presented beautifully and really enjoyable. The entertainment was great and no pressure to be involved in anything you did not want to. We did not have to leave the hotel once other than back to the airport to come home. I cannot reccomend the destination highly enough. I have one negative.....we only stayed five days. My wife has said she would love to go back, I agree so she is going try to arrange another visit in time for my birthday Thank you to all the staff and great people for making my wifes birthday so special. Keep up the great work Hotel Arminda!

The hotel was fantastic. The staff where very good and the hotel was well run. Clean rooms, food was different everyday, our room was cleaned every day and beds made fresh. This hotel was recommend to us by a friend and was my partners and my first all inclusive holiday. I would definitely come back. I was worried about not speaking Greek but the staff spoke English and we had no trouble over there. Theres two towns next to the hotel, stalis which I would recommend and hersonissos. There is also lots of pools to choose from and people of every size as I'm quite self conscious but no one seems bothered and I felt quite relaxed. They have beer, white wine, red wine and rose wine on tap. They also have whiskey, osso and vodka free. Sodas cola, lime, lemon, orange. Juices and water. They also have a range of cocktails but you have to pay for them but they are very nice. Over all great place, entertaining and great staff. I highly recommend.

Dear Emma H, hello from Chersonisos! Thank you for sharing your experience with us on Tripadvisor. It is essential for us to receive feedbacks so that we know we are on the right direction. You did not have to worry about the way to communicate with the staff- almost everybody speaks English and we also have staff fluent in German, Russian, Italian and French. We also do not descriminate. A guest is always a guest no matter the size, the social background, the origin etc. The goal here is to have fun, to relax, to enjoy. I am glad that you realized that this is our policy and relaxed. Again, thank you for your recommendation. It would be nice to see you again in Arminda in the near future. Warmest Wishes,

This is our third visit in Crete but a first one in Arminda Hotel and Spa.My daughter is not just Gluten free but also she has some allergies. The hotel staff are amazing and truly caring. Hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The was no trouble to choose something for my daughter, they have even offered to cook Gluten free pasta for her. There is plenty of sunbeds to choose, great swimming pools and jacuzzi. This is family friendly hotel but well managed so you didn't felt disturbed by children. The housekeeping was truly amazing and very lovely and this some applied to the reception. Truly recommend this hotel.

We stayed a week in early September. Weather was windy but kept wasps away. The best things in this hotel are the staff and how clean everywhere was. I unfortunately ended up in hospital but the Tui rep, Salvador and the hotel made sure I was fed and when returned and room bound, was made to feel comfortable and nothing too much trouble. Great to have a doctor visit daily. It is very much a family hotel but as a couple we enjoyed it too. The food is lovely and changed every meal. Chef was great to show what was vegetarian My only bad side was being in a block of rooms where the guests below and next door smoked so I could not go out on the balcony. Our friend has asthma and had same problem. Would recommend this hotel.

Dear Peta R, hello from Arminda! Thank you for taking time to leave a comment in our profile at Tripadvisor. It saddens me to know that you had to go to the hospital. I trully hope you feel better now. But it comforts me to know that we did the best we could to help you while you were here. Also, it is true that the presence of a private doctor at the hotel twice per day is comforting but let's all hope - not needed too. Let me add to your comment that all the rooms in our hotel are non smoking and smoking is only permitted in the balkony of each room. Unfortunately, we cannot control which neighbour smokes and which does not before checking in a guest but if a guest wishes for a room change for the specific reason, we will of course grant the wish. Once again, thank you for your review and your recommendation. Warm Wishes,
