Location: Star Beach Village is located only a few meters from its sister, Star Beach Water Park, with 4 beautifully sandy beaches available, just 25 km from N. Kazantzakis International Airport, 3 minutes driving from the center of Hersonissos and another 30 minutes driving from the City of Heraklion, the 2.000 B.C. Minoan Knossos Palace, and the Venetian Harbor. From the east side there is the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos (30 km) and the summer ancient Minoan Palace of Malia (5 km). Accommodation: It consists of 395 beautifully decorated dbl rooms, family rooms, superior family rooms, suites, and dbl rooms Annex, with garden and sea view, split unit heating and air-conditioning, bath or shower, hairdryer, direct isdn telephone line, safe box (free), sat. T.V, music channels, direct Wi-Fi Internet access, fridge (with mineral water refreshed daily), microwave, water-boiler with coffee & tea amenities and balcony or terrace. All rooms have been renovated during the winters of 2016 & 2017. Annex rooms were built during the winter of 2019. Room Types: A) Standard Double room. Open plan with 1 double bed, plus 2 singles or a bunk bed. (Max. occupancy 3 adults + 1 child). B) Sea View Double room. Open plan with 1 double bed plus an extra single bed or a bunk bed. (Max. occupancy 3 adults). C) Double room Annex. Open plan with 1 double bed or 2 sgl beds. (Max. occupancy 2 adults). These rooms are in our new building across the road, right opposite from the main entrance of the Hotel, approx. 150 m. away (To cross the road and come to the main Hotel’s area, there is an underground passage available approx. 250 m. away from the Annex building). The Annex building has its own swimming pool and a very nice pool-snack bar). D) Standard Family Room. They have a children room with 2 single beds separated from the main sleeping room which has 1 double bed plus 2 single beds or a bunk bed. (Max. occupancy 4 adults + 2 children). It has also an extra W.C. separated from the main bathroom. E) Superior Family room. Same decoration and facilities like the standards, only that they are more spacious. (max. occupancy 5 adults + 1 child). F) Star Suite. New rooms, constructed in 2016, only a few meters from the beach. Open plan sleeping-living room with 1 double bed plus an extra single bed. They have larger doors according to the International Standards, direct access from and to the reception, the lobby, and the main restaurant with a lift, shower instead of a bath and all the necessary equipment in the bathroom and the toilet to sit, stand and hold. Swimming Pool: The Hotel’s main swimming pool, open only for hotel clients with fresh water, depth from 20cm-140cm, size 700 square meters with open-air Jacuzzi and separate children pool. Deck chairs and umbrellas are with no charge around the pool. In Water Park, also open to non-Star Beach Village clients, there are 8 swimming pools for everybody’s taste. Operation hours: 10:00 – 18:00. It serves mineral water, filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino, and hot chocolate), tea, juices, soft drinks, long drinks, draught beer, as well as local wine and international spirits. It also serves toasts, pommes frites, pizza, ice cream & variety of salads in salad bar. 12:00 till 17:00 wok bar with meat & fish choices from the guests, cooking fresh a la minute. “City” Pool-Snack Bar Out-door bar (located in the Annex building right next to the swimming pool of the Annex). Operation hours: 10:00 – 18:00. It serves mineral water, filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino, and hot chocolate), tea, juices, soft drinks, draught beer, and local wine. Toasts, pommes frites, ice cream, pizza, and Greek salads are being served between 10:00-17:00. “Thalassa” Beach Bar Out-door beach bar (at the east side of the water park, right in front of the sea). Operation hours: 10:00 – 18:00. Serves filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino, and hot chocolate), tea, mineral water, soft drinks, & draught beer.
