We had a room above the restaurant in the building of the former Sun Beach Hotel, which is now part of the Eri Beach Hotel, with a magnificent view of the sea. We had a superior room, which was apparently recently renovated. The restaurant was closed after a week with an excuse for bad weather and we relied on services in the main restaurant. Upon arrival, no one at the reception complied with anti-covid measures. None of the tourists observed any measures during the stay, especially in the dining room, and none of the staff checked it. After our complaint, the director himself began to control at least the use of disposable gloves. The hotel has three saltwater pools and slides. It is ideal for families with children who do not go to the sea. There are plenty of free sun beds and sun umbrellas in the area. For all hotel guests there is only about 20m wide entrance to the sea (the biggest shortcoming). The only real beach is only about 50m long by a kind of lagoon separated from the sea by a stone wall. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the sandy beach next hotel for a fee. Noise and raids by tourists to the dining room, especially at dinner, are a chapter in themselves. There is often a lack of clean dishes, glasses, etc. The young staff is mostly uninterested. According to the director, during our stay about 1000 guests were accommodated, most of which, in my estimate, 60% Russian-speaking (they often do as if it were their hotel) , 10% Czechs, 10% Poles and the rest from other countries.…
Positive: location is very good Negative: hotel needs maintenance, etc -all inn? If you want a coctail, slushee,...or a drink after 22h? Pay extra (not what we are used to) -The food is very mediocre, we went most of the time eating to external restaurants, even we had "all inn" -Sheets on the bed too small for the matras, so 1 time moving and youre sleeping on the matras -not even a simple -make up my room/do not enter- sign in the room. It happens when youre resting, the maid enters -furniture broken/old/usage etc... (screw sticking out of a table at the pool with kids running around!) -We arrived after 21h at the hotel. Great! Can we have something to eat? "No, restaurant closed". Ok, is there room service? "No" -toilets at the reception are filthy/clogged,... Unfortunatly to say the only good thing is the location of the hotel, and the pools that are ok. Can't recommend it…
Hotel is great, they have a lot of places to swim, tasty food and drinks, bar is not expensive and I give 5 stars for one waitress from restaurant. She was very nice and kind to me, answered my question very well and have beautiful eyes :) Her name is Maria. I greet you and thanks to the hotel.
I normally don’t write reviews but we just come back from Eri Beach Hotel. Our first choice holiday was cancelled so I quickly booked Eri and I was really worried about the hotel as there is lots of not good reviews. We were very surprised, the hotel is lovely, family room big, clean and amazing swimming pools and sea views from our room. There is 3 swimming pools, slides, attractions, each swimming pool have kids pool and one next to the sea soon you step of the pool there is a sand beach, where also have an area on the beach save for kids to play all day. Amazing views, friendly staff, the hotel is in the town centre so plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Busy outside evenings. Highly recommended. Really enjoyed.
So I don’t know where to start. The location is amazing, the holiday was cheap however as it was rated 4 star we thought we got a bargain. I seriously don’t know how they are rated a 4* hotel, I think that needs to be reviewed as soon as possible. If you like food I would not go all inclusive. There is only 2 food warmers that worked. The food is cold and very repetitive. They don’t do omelettes in the morning; most all inclusive do. The eggs are boiled at 3 mins and they don’t do hard eggs. EVERYTHING was cold. Same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day. We had to go out to eat half way through the week. The lady who does the grill is very rude and they all talk about you in there language and laugh. I holiday every year and this hotel has been my worst experience of customer service and don’t make you feel welcome at all. Breakfast isn’t good for children or anyone to be fair. The cleaners cleaned lovely the first 2 days then the cleaning of the room was inconsistent. There is no kettle, tea or coffee in the room. All inclusive ends at 10pm so if you fancy a cola you have to go and buy one. When arrived the reception was not helpful, we found out there was 2 restaurants however when we went in to one we was told the other is ours. This was never explained to us. Very embarrassing. The children’s pool was ridiculously horrendous. There is so much salt my children was in tears. They was unable to use the slides and everything because way too much salt. We was informed they do it on purpose to reduce the number of people in the pool. Making it unbearable to swim in is so wrong on many levels. The man at the bar opposite the smaller pool was so lovely and welcoming. He actually made it a nicer holiday for us, always wanting to make conversation etc. The female lifeguard was also nice, a smile doesn’t hurt anyone. The rooms are basic, needs some serious maintenance, my shower door was hanging off so I had leave them open when my children showered encase it fell on them. The hair dryer didn’t work. We wanted a safe however they couldn’t find the key so had to return the next day so they could cut one. The hotel says WIFI- please please please sort your data if you choose to stay here, no WIFI only in the reception which did not work so again we had to go to restaurant on the strip the very first day to speak with our loved ones. The sunloungers get taken from the night before and people leave towels on them and leave them for days. We was opposite a set of 4 loungers that was not used for 3 days. No signs to say do not reserve etc. The wooden sunloungers are very uncomfortable, think they forgot to order the cushions to go with it. We saw a few cockroaches but not in our rooms (thank God) the location of our room was great. We arrived at 10 at night, and left at 7:40 we asked for late check out and they said we needed to pay. I think this was ridiculous although we paid it we then got locked out of our room when we left. Nightmare. All staff drink on the job. The hotel isn’t well run, needs better management and leadership. I would not recommend anyone stay here. When we spoke to other holiday makers they said the same thing and thought because it’s 4* it would be okay. This hotel is not 4* at all!!! If you can take the time to find somewhere better you should. It’s a shame as it could be an amazing resort! This was supposed to be our honeymoon and a special request was made however we received nothing. Not that they had to, but now I see why. Greece is beautiful though.…
