Sent here due to delayed flight back to UK. Only good thing was a speedy check in. Place is like a run down holiday camp from 70's a rabbit warren. Took to room on upper floor, no elevators!!!. Restaurant for breakfast, all "hot food" was cold and room had a pong., and only ate bread rolls as food was disgusting. Ended up going to another hotel nearby to get away from this he'll hole, avoid at all costs

I was absolutely dreading coming to this hotel as I had made myself ill reading all the reviews but I can honestly say it was fab, I did my research so knew the AI drinks were limited to certain drinks I also knew it finished at 10pm but that was fine, the rooms were a little dated but were cleaned on a daily basis, bedding changed and clean towels, the staff we found pleasant just one lady on reception that was rude but everyone else was OK, it was other guests that we found rude and ignorant!!! We spent most of our days at the top pool near the sunbay banner which was beautiful, the restaurant we always found a seat, clean plates and cutlery and always found something nice to eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The afternoon snacks weren't much but we got by. There was always plenty of sunbeds round any of the pools. Air con was charged at 3 euros a day and worked fine, cleaners were pleasant, bar staff were pleasant even the manager pointed us in the right direction to our room. The only downside was entertainment but other than that I would say it was perfect. We travelled as a family of 3 with 13 year old daughter and my parents also came with us, after 10pm we used to take a walk to a couple of bars on beach front which were both lovely, king scorpion and peurto greco. I would deffo return to this hotel in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone. Hope this puts people's minds at rest cos I know how anxious I was.

Location, spot on.... near to the beautiful sea and amazing star beach... BUT... alcohol was only wine, beer, brandy and ouzo... no other spirits... unless you go to the chargeable bar. Air con was 3 euros a day... Some blocks have no lift and lots of stairs... even some blocks had no lights which is so dangerous. One little boy overheated and passed out in the lobby area as it was so hot with no air con and there was no onsight medical staff... and no one knew what to do, he nearly died... ambulance took a good half hour to come... The restaurant was way too busy, it was not relaxing at all, people flying everywhere, and it was sweaty... couldn't wait to get out.... which is not a dining experience you want on holiday. In the end, the food got that repetitive, i had to start eating out. Pancakes were decent for breakfast but 10mins wait and a maximum of 2. Tables weren't set quick enough and when i went to grab cutlery, one of the waitresses shouted at me!!! (Get a life gurllll) One of the days we went back to our room and there were two reception staff in there ''just doing a check'' apparently.... don't agree with that...!!! The hotel has so much potential, just modernise, take on board the comments and bloody crack a smile!!!!

Just came back on 01/09/22 from a 10night trip to Crete, Eri beach hotel. Arrived on 22/08 late evening with a 9yrs child. Usually they suppose to put some water and a sandwich in your room, in the fridge, as i seen in other places when guests arrive late. Not here! We paid for a family room, but end up in a cell room with 3 single beds. Took them 2 days to swap the room. I believe the rooms ending with A have been divided in 2, for more guests. The location is very nice but not the hotel. Over 2000 people...struggling to get a table or even to find a plate. Bar very poor and rude staff....Internet only in the reception and lobby. Food very poor nearly same every day. Lady from the 10pm BAR, where you have to pay for your drinks very rude. Feel sorry for the location of the hotel with great potential but nothing else there. First time in Crete and because of this probably last.

If you book this hotel you will need to have low expectations. We did but were still disappointed with what we found. Room was dirty and falling apart, we had to request for our bathroom to be cleaned halfway through our 2 week holiday. The all inclusive element was virtually non existent, food was poor, always cold and tasteless. During the day you couldn’t get even an ice cream for the kids, it had to be at either lunch or dinner. The manager of the restaurant was extremely arrogant and rude, I saw him march a lady out of the restaurant one evening because she wanted a coffee with her dinner!!! Snacks during the day are served at 1 of the 2 bars and handed to you in a napkin, no choice whatsoever! The staff on reception and the manager of the hotel are all miserable and rude! The swimming pools have loose and broken tiles all over the place. In the evening the bar where the “entertainment” is held is not part of the all inclusive so you either have to go over to another bar or pay for your drinks! We ended up going to the shops and bringing our own alcohol in as we thought it was wrong we couldn’t get a beer and watch our children at the same time. I could go on but I just want to forget about this place now. You basically get what you pay for here, it’s cheap but not very cheerful! We will never again be booking a cheap hotel, this place ruined what we hoped to be a relaxing 2 weeks in the sun.

Eri Beach is a complex that has outgrown itself massively. Its not just one hotel, its a combination of Eri Beach and Sun Bay, but without having any of the Sun Bay facilities or staff. FOOD - There's literally one restaurant to serve 2000+ people. Meal times are absolute carnage, if you can even find a table! Once you get past that challenge, it's time to play Hunt The Plates... The layout of the serving areas means you're stuck in huge queues wherever you go, whilst others are trying to squeeze past and get drinks/head to tables. The food itself is very basic and repetitive, the mass catering element meant that some meats were often either overdone (pork so tough it couldn't be cut) or underdone (turkey that was gelatinous and pink). 30 mins before the end of the mealtime, they start removing half the food, regardless of whether you're literally in a queue to get it, resulting in further pileups as everyone shifts over to the other side to grab whatever scraps are left. Forget about getting any ice cream, the queue for that at lunch and dinner is horrendous. DRINKS - The only all-inclusive drinks are soft drinks, watery beer, wine or brandy. Even getting these becomes a mission as the bars are massively understaffed and you face more huge queues. The cups themselves are tiny, less than 300ml. In the evening, they open the paid bar, where you'll be forking out €9 for a cocktail, €5 for a beer. EVENING ANIMATION - A kids disco that lasts 10 mins. With the same music, same dances. That's it. There is an amphitheatre but it was never used in our werk there (and we stayed in August so prime high season!) POOLS - The pools are clean and well maintained, with good play areas for younger kids. The waterpark has salt water, so make sure you go prepared with googles! For the first 5 days of our stay, there was no supervision on the slides, which meant you had adults and teens ploughing down and into smaller kids without a single care. Our son actually ended up getting kicked in the head by one such person! CLEANLINESS - The cleaning staff are massively overwhelmed. They have an army to clean the thousands of rooms, which resulted in the communal areas being left to quite literally rot. The toilets were awful, with open bins and signs saying not to put tissue in the toilet. Sounds OK, until you realise women are having to leave soiled sanitary items in the open, in 30c+ heat... ROOMS - We had a family room, as there were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The room itself was OK, if crowded with a double, a bunk bed, and a single bed. It was extremely dark though, and we found that the aircon unit leaked pretty bad! The room was pretty tired and definitely needs a lick of paint and a decent wipe around. OVERALL - The whole place has an aura of chaos, caused by too many people and not enough staff. The decor and surroundings were generally very outdated and the main part of all inclusive (food/drink) became the worst part of the stay! The fact that the Sun Bay side had an extra restaurant and bar that were all closed off just made it worse, we could see the potential but were stuck in hell! Personally, we won't be going back and I'd recommend everyone else to avoid until they work out the staffing issues and get their house in order!

We have just come back from a 10 day stay here at Eri Beach. The Hotel is in a lovely location, lovely views and lovely to look at... pools... etc. But everything else was horrendous. The food was terrible, we've been to lots of all inclusive hotels and never expect a great deal but was disappointed and the restaurante was carnage. All I can say is that it was like feeding time at the zoo. Most of the time fighting for plates and tables with other guests, very rude guests (which isn't the hotels fault) coffee machine huge queues, and most of the time never worked. Manager never friendly or greeted you like we've experienced at other hotels. Drinks.... watered down beer (again usually expected) served in small party cups. Wine, no spirits. And sorts drinks were the cheapest of the cheap. Bar shuts at 10. Another bar open but you have to pay. Not much entertainment. Our rooms were dated, curtains fell off the first day we was there, fridge broke, shower played up quite often. Staff.... receptionists so rude and unhelpful. When we approached them on a couple of occasions they just rolled their eyes, looked at you like you was stupid and huffed and puffed. Felt very unwelcome and that you was just a number throughout our whole stay. Toilets..... dirty! Same toilets used for restaurant and pool. Never seemed clean. We went up to our room each time we needed the toilet which was an inconvenience. Pool with slides.... salt water! Very salty stings your eyes. But good fun. Dodgy lifts..... a family got stuck in one of the lifts and was in there a while. They was ringing the emergency phone inside but no one answered. The lift finally opened and the I noticed the family arguing with the receptionist for a while but I could tell they wasn't being very helpful or sympathetic. This hotel could be an excellent hotel, but with all the things I've mentioned it hugely let's it down and I would never return.

Ok, so first of all it’s not a four star hotel. So please don’t expect it to be. It’s an ok 3 at best. It’s very family friendly with great beaches and great snorkelling. Loads of fun things to do. Great views and you can get to everything from this hotel very easily. Loads of sun beds and shade. Plenty of things to do. However not the slides. They go into a salt water pool which is far far too salty and we mostly used the chlorine pools. This could easily be a four star hotel if they put in the time and effort. The issue is it’s 3 hotels in 1 and they are trying to run it as 1 and it cannot cope. To try and get a drink is hard work it would be much better if the turned all the soft drinks around so people could help themselves. This would cu the waiting times. The all inclusive is not worth it. The restaurant isn’t bad but repetitive and so so noisy because it’s handling so many people. The chef stands outside In the evenings. I am not sure why. They are cheeky and put the limited entertainment at the bar that’s not all not part of the all inclusive. There is only 2 members of the entrainment the team and not professional like other hotels I have visited. I know it sounds mostly negative but the stuff you get to do locally does make up for it. I personally wouldn’t return to the hotel but would 100% return to the area. If you have already booked don’t worry as it won’t be as bad as you might have read in the reviews. Just manage your expectations.

We went on a family holiday here in July (6 adults and 2 children). ANIMATION TEAM: I want to start off by mentioning how AMAZING the animation team are despite the terrible customer service from the hotel. The main animator (Alex, I believe) along with the 2 others who were part of the team at the time of us being there, were doing everything they could to make our stay the best possible, they followed a great programme which included bingo night (with cool prizes for the whole family), karaoke night, fun games for adults and the famous mini disco which was filled with all the children every night. The Kids Club is also opened for the children throughout the day with various activities like painting, games, gymnastics etc. When seeing them around the hotel, they always greeted us with a smile (unlike the hotel staff). To be honest, if it wasn't for the animation team our stay would be SO much worse. ROOM: When we came to the hotel, we were greeted by the receptionist who were okay and spoke English (along with other languages). Me and my mum had a room on 4th floor and the room was in good condition, it was clean and spacious, a bit old (for a 4 star hotel). The problem which we had was a broken flush (which we reported and it was claimed to be fixed however a few days later the same problem was occurring - we just let it go to carry on reporting it). I was also bit several times on my legs and arms after sleeping in the bed (not sure if this was bed bugs or mosquitos?). We had a balcony with a nice view and the air con worked well. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Understaffed hotel which you can see by the way the staff are behaving, lashing out at customers, speaking in their own language in front of customers, poor choice for all inclusive drinks, hotel manager was very unpleasant, staff are clearly overworked. LOCATION: location is amazing, the hotel is very big and spacious and has SO much potential if underwent renovation and was ran better. RATING: Definitely not a 4 star hotel, I would give it max. 2 stars.

our experience was very pleasant, we stayed for a week. we spent a very relaxing week. we met the animation guys with whom we found ourselves very well. during the morning we participated in activities like aqua gym with the animators Alexandra and David. the evening was the highlight, with the mini disco for the kids and right after the show. we had a lot of fun with games for adults.
