AVOID THIS HOTEL This horrible place is dirty and stinky, they said that in every room is a TV but in our room wasnt a TV,we paid 25€ for aur conditioner for 5 days and it didnt work, the shower head was leaking water and the sink in the kitchen was not working because it had cutted pipe, there were bugs coming from the pipe. This place isnt safe either it has cables from walls and from floor was showing some weird black piped, warm water doesnt flow and when we asked staff about it he said with a ironic smile that the sun will warm it a that we should wait, also the staff werent in the hotel all day they were there like about 4 hours, the socket and the light switches were randomly on the walls. The food was horrible stinky and always same,it was brought in in a large conteiners it looked like a leftovers from another restaurant, for the drinks there was one cheap coca cola, horrible juice and then only alcohol. I would give this place 0 stars.

I understand that 2020 has been a hard time for everyone including the travel industry but you should not mislead potential new customers in to thinking the hotel is something it isn't. Looking at the photos on the trip advisor page they are many years old because out side look nothing like it. We booked with love holidays and the description is totally unacceptable and misleading. The hotel is nothing like the description. The description includes, *all rooms provided with a small kitchen including hob, crockery and a kettle. Indoor pool and outdoor pools. Pool table and electronic games.* In that description there is one small outdoor pool. The rest doesn't exist. The rooms offered to you on Love Holidays site are.. *annex, double/twin or superior. All the above rooms are offered at different prices. The Superior being £150 more than the others. The superior and annex rooms don't exist and all rooms are the same. *continental breakfast and buffet food. You choice of breakfast is bread with preserves or 2 types of cereal. The other food which is provided by a catering firm and brought in from another building, when eventually served at lunch and dinner is cold and served to you and its not buffet style. Nikos is a lovely bloke who will help you with your needs A total disappointment and won't be staying here again The pictures I used are the view from our room and 1 of the 2 options for breakfast

If I could give this hotel 0 stars then I definitely would. From the moment I got there, I hated it. We got to the door and no one was on the reception, there was just a piece of paper cellotaped to the door with a phone number on it, telling us to ring the owner. We rang and he finally came around 5 minutes later. He checked us in and told us we have a ‘deluxe room’ I’ll tell you what, if that was a deluxe room I’d hate to see the standard rooms! He then proceeded to watch us, 2 young girls struggle to carry our 18kg suitcases up the flight of stairs, we did try the elevator but of course it didn’t work! We have spent more money eating out than what we paid for this hotel. As the food is inedible and there’s 5 options and not vegetarian friendly. There is no entertainment throughout the day or night, it’s just silent all of the time. The fridge is disgusting and dirty, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Also, our room never got cleaned once and we made sure that we was out of the room on time. We had to go down and ask them ourselves for necessities such as toilet paper. They have 3 options of alcohol; Greek vodka, red white and white wine. And usual beverages they have orange juice, cheap lemonade and cheap coke, which are all flat. We are covered in bed bug bites now, thanks to this hotel. We have witnessed 3 families come and go from this place due to not liking the standard of the hotel. No one is ever on reception, the front door is unlocked all night with no security. The gates around the back are constantly open with no security so anyone can get in our out of this place. It’s awful, it’s my first time in Greece and probably my last due to this hotel. It’s put me off the place completely. I highly recommend you do not come here and I can not stress that enough.

I had to use the Heronissos Blue as a base for use of pool and to eat. Food was delivered, ready cooked, in containers. Can`t say how bad it was, I only ate there once. Drinks very weak and tastless. Small pool looking onto main road. A few sun loungers. I kept away as much as I could. If I had to give advise, book something else.

It was a friendly place. We had 2 weeks in Sept 2017. Small complex, max 35 apartments with small safe pool, which was regularly cleaned. Very close to sea and beaches, about 3 to 8 mins walk. Other direction close to Broadway, Main Street for shops, restaurants. (Cheaper than sea front) and take away (giros pita 3 to 3.50 euro) found many shops had all we needed at fair price. Cleaners arrived 7am every day, starting with common parts. Help yourself tea/coffee available 24/7. F.I. drinks available 10am to 10pm. B/fast 1.5hrs, lunch/dinner 1 hr, all food brought in from somewhere else. You will not go hungry, though many said it was bland & repetitious. For price we paid at last minute no complaints. Handy location and friendly staff worked very hard. We would consider staying again. If you want better food choice stay somewhere else and pay much more. Providing you returned your plates, cutlery promptly they seemed allowed people to take food to outside areas. Note former name AVERINOS is written in large print outside than new name Hersonissos Blue Hotel
