We recently finished off our vacation to Crete with a 4 day stay at the Elmi suites. To provide some context look at the attached pictures. And feel free to sing a long. The hotel has stunning views from the small cliff face restaurant. An extensive AI drinks package, & excellent food. The standards are extremely high & were consistent. There is very little that I could say that isn't a positive. Aside from we had an early morning flight & had booked an early breakfast. The reception requested our room number etc. However, on getting up, arriving at the dining facility. There was no breakfast, No provision, & staff were only just coming in. (Extremely Poor). That is possibly more a reflection on a staff member, but reflects on the hotel. As a paying guest you are both entitled & expect to be fed. The other point to work on are the pool toilets which are below ground that are infested with flies & mosquitoes. Something like electric fly zappers or keeping the doors closed might help. But this is not a good look. Aside from this the hotel is highly recommended. Would I stay here again: Yes, we paid £72 per night for a junior suite to provide some context, which was great value for money. Although a 15 minute walk into the centre of the resort. It has a beautiful beachfront location on the promenade. Although the hotel does look slightly dated. To those going on an AI if this is what you seek. Humans also feature on the mosquito AI menu. During the time here. They were everywhere. So unless like me you don't get bitten. Take plenty of repellent.…

Let’s start with the positive, the staff was 5 star all the way. We arrived in the middle of the night got rooms all over the place but it was all sorted in the morning. The staff worked hard to turn over drinks and ice cream from two bars. Almost always with a smile. They saved the holiday. The Elmo suit is one building and the rooms are fantastic. However we had unspecified rooms from lastminute.com and ended up in Porto Greco village. The rooms are clean worn spacious with out facilities. 2 star at most. Make sure what room you have booked. For the cosmo group. Do not over sell, you just create unhappy customers…. Cleaning was good the rooms where clean but a couple of extras like glasses, iron etc would push the room up in rating. The all inclusive food was at best mundane. The green session had burgers chips and pasta… not great. The fish was tasteless, the chicken when served was the highlight but I can cook that at home any day so very disappointed. Yes we ha overcooked prawns one day but we had to go out at night to get a decent meal. Plenty of restaurants, just avoid Scorpio bar and orian bar as they have the same kitchen and the same food as all inclusive more or less The pools are small and there is a constant fight for sun chairs as in any resort. They have basketball half court in the basement …. Yes they actually do and it’s perfect for 2v2 or shooting. The gym is half broken, but a few weights and bars you can make a decent workout. The spa and bubble pools are down here as well. Did not use them, but they did not look inviting to use at all unfortunately. We hoped for a 4 start experience, the staff delivered but everyone else let us down….…

We arrived for a weeks holiday in August at the Elmi suites. We were put in a room which was absolutely shocking where do i start the fridge was dirty and full of rust and the black out blinds didn't even cover the whole windows and the cupboards were all broken and very sharp wood sticking out which is dangerous if there was young children and the bedroom door was hanging off. My wife was in the toilet the window blew open as the lock was broken and by the end of our holiday it was still broken unbelievable .We complained at least 7 times but no joy, great start to our holiday then just to top it off we went for a walk when we returned to our room we had at least 14 young Dutch guys partying right outside our room which they had the rooms next door to us this was the final straw complained again and we got moved to another room funny that as before they said they didn't have any other rooms available. The other room was fine lovely view over the sea but just to top it off my wife's jacket was ruined by 1 of the cleaners bleach was spilled over it when they were cleaning the room. The resort Hersonissos itself is beautiful and the beach is paradise we lay by the beach everyday as the hotel pools are like an 18 to 30 holiday just full of groups of young Dutch boys wanting to party not ideal for a family holiday. We will certainly be back to the Resort but DEFINITELY DEFINITELY we will not be back to the Elmi suites.The hotel advertises itself as 4 star its lucky if its 2 star tops if you want a family holiday do not book here.Please see attached photos .…

We stayed here with our 2 teenage daughters and had a great time ! The room we booked was a sea view room but was given a side sea view room so could only see the sea from our tiny balcony, we could have complained but to be honest we are not in the room for long. The apartment contained 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen area. Nothing in the kitchen apart from a fridge. The room was very basic nothing special. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The dining areas are amazing specially sitting right by the sea eating your meals. The food was glorious, something for everyone. Very tasty, seasoned and presented lovely. The restaurant staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Reception staff are wonderful! They are helpful, couldn’t do enough, very accommodating. Bar staff also fantastic although the only alcoholic drinks included in AL are beer, ouzo, raki and brandy. So for me this was not great but the 2 for 1 cocktails in the surrounding bars made up for this! The soft drinks are not great, syrup tasting or flat. The surrounding area is fantastic with shops, bars and restaurants should you venture out. Lots to do with Star Beach 5 minutes walk away lots of pools, lazy river and water sports. Go karting was amazing. We hired a car and visited Amazonas which was well worth the visit, the children loved feeding the lemurs, followed by a car journey to Elounda beach which was lovely. The rescue aquarium and reptile place was fun. We booked a boat trip and swam in the sea, had a bbq then a short trip to St George’s for another swim, the sea was calm so it was like a massive swimming pool, absolutely loved it!! I don’t even like the sea but would highly recommend. We spent time in the karaoke bar opposite silver beach hotel, they are lovely here. We also ate out at Soraya which was great, staff lovely and did not cost the earth unlike some other restaurants. The White Lion is nice but a bit pricey. Although the food was delicious. There is definitely lots to do and see, cost us a small fortune but was worth it! We will definitely be going back !!! …

It was the perfect vacation..first time with a 7 months old baby...we had a big room, a bed for the baby, very clean, a very big balcony with sea view, the food was very good...nothing bad to say about this hotel. I will deffinitely return there.

Such an amazing hotel. Its located opposite the beach and isn't far from main areas with the luxury of having a busy street full of restaurants and shops at the rear of the hotel. We came as all inclusive and you definitely get more than what you pay for, there was a variety of food wgich was very tasty however do not get confused with UK cocktails and GR Cocktails as theirs is a mixer. We stayed in a recently refurbed suite and it was lovely. We read many poor reviews from recent trips and we couldn't understand what tgey were talking about as we had nothing to complain about. The staff were ever so friendly and it was clear that the management are constantly looking on how they can improve the hotel. Like i said after the first day we were already seeking a holiday there next year and could possibly be a frequent destination for us :)…

Went to greece with some friends and we decided to stay here for a week. We paid for all inclusive access and I must say that it was worth it, free beer for a week? Sign me up. Now I'm giving 5 stars mostly for the service. honestly, I think i've never had better and kinder servers in my life, such good, kind hearted and professional people. Now... Some of the single beds, could have been better, the mattresses were way to hard, they felt like you were just sleeping on the floor, now i'm quite young, in my early 20's, so it didn't bother me, but I can imagine that it could give an older person back pain. The thing though, the rest of the service and hotel made up for it, that's why I can't give this hotel less then 5 stars

Really lovely room . With hair dryer but no coffee making facility or enough hangers. The staff led by expert leaders make the place even better. Beware if you come all inclusive - you will be given a different experience than if you pay on the day.

This is a lovely resort in a great location very clean and made to feel very welcome the food is one of the best resorts you get to choose and it’s cooked for you nothing is to much trouble and the burgers are the best my husband has had. The resort is clean and tidy has a few wasps but you can’t help that nothing is to much trouble for the two sisters and there family. Would love to return enjoyed our time with you last sept 2017 and made some great friends thank you
