The workers, the manager and the reception are terrible. When we arrived they suddenly charged 300eu as deposition which is nowhere mentioned on the website. When we payed it they told it was for if something brakes or too much noises. What they never said is that they’ll hold it back in case you bring a guest to your room. My brother was in town so I took him to see my room for 1 hour and then left. Suddenly the owner comes to the hotel and tells us very aggressively they will kick us out and will not get the money back, although they never mentioned you can’t take a friend to your room. Fortunately we weren’t kicked out but on the day of leave they tell us we won’t get our money back. 300eu, just because we took 1 guest to our room. A disgrace and the staff and owner are very aggressive. We spoke a couple of other residents and they had the exact same. Almost everyone didn’t get their deposition back on a variety of random bases. They just make up reasons not to give the money back. DONT GO TO SENSES BLUE BOTIQUE.…
Romanians are kiked out from the hotel all summer it happened. The manager of the hotel was saying they he has rooms but he don't want to give. As a Romanian tour operator we had prepaid booking to Senses Blue Boutique all summer and all summer we had minimum 1 or 2 rooms kieckd out of the hotel. Last days had been even harder when the hotel's manager is clearly saying he has rooms but he doesn't want to accommodate the clients. Even when out tourists already payed the rooms, the Romanias are refused to be accommodated. We had families with children like today we have a family with a 3 year old child who were left outside without a room even if they had made their reservation at this hotel since June. I do not recomand this hotel and I will avoid it as much as possible. No one desearve to be left in the streets because it's nationality!…
They received us saying the hotel have over booking and we have to move at another hotel ( inferior ranked when we checked). We not accepted their proposal, we called at travel agency and after 2 hours they gave us the rooms. The rooms were very clean, daily clean, the towels was changed every day, sheets changed 3 times/ week. The food was bad, I liked just the melon and feta cheese. In hotel was not quiet, was many young people which when came at 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning and woke up all the hotel. The staff tryied to fix this problem and after 4 days we could sleep normal. The hotel is nice, very clean but they have to change overbooking becouse they will lost the tourists.
Stayed at Senses Blue hotel recently. Stylish, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and very helpful staff. A few tweaks needed - the bar by the rooftop pool needed to be staffed and better soundproofing of room door. However enjoyed my stay and would return.
This hotel is in a good location right at the end of the main road with a massive supermarket on the corner. The room we was in had a massive balcony and comfortable bed (top floor). The pool on the roof is ok a bit small but the hotel was nearly empty when there so was fine. We had to ask for a kettle but was given one (brand new) within a couple of hours. The rooms should have a little table with kettle/ toaster and some plates etc for making a sandwich or a snack. The TV needs to be bigger as it's tiny with no channels! Also needs to be fitted in the main room not it the second room? Very strange! The staff were very nice and helpful the lady and younger girl. The road up beside the supermarket takes you to Koutouloufari which is by far the best place for dinner in the whole area if not the whole of Crete! It's about a 20 minute walk but well worth it with about 25 places to eat and a few bars there too. The best restaurant there IS ARIADNI which is just on your right upstairs as you turn left into the strip. We ate there 3 times and every meal was great and excellent value... Overall this hotel is decent enough for a week or so break.... If helpful please tick the box below.…
I have been there for 6 nights with my boyfriend and was simply perfect! Starting from the check-in with Antony who helped us to undestrand the area, expleined how the hotel works etc. Our first room was the basic one but still nice and the shower had the perfect pressure! We asked to change the room because we would loved to have one with the jacuzzi, and again, the manager was really disponibile to satisfy our whish for a really good price! We really loved staying here, everyone was always smiling and friendly, from the guys in the reception( Antony, Padellius and the beautiful Maria) always giving us the right tip about everthing the restaurants and the amazing places we visited in Creete! The lady who cleaned our room To the breakfast team Kosta,Marcos and Andry who always made start our day with a big smile and of course the chefs! Ianis the guy in the swimming pool bar who was always disonible and friendly! You guys made feel us at home making us enjoy our time as much as we could! The hotel has also a perfecet location fron to the beach! We really recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely go back!…
My wife and I stayed in an Executive Suite and found it to be spotlessly clean, spacious and very well presented. The hotel being very well placed for shops restaurants and the beach. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Regrettably the outsourced breakfast detracted from an otherwise excellent stay. Service of breakfast was from 08:00 to 09:30 with very little of the buffet left by 09:00
We booked this as the pictures online looked lovely however when we arrived we were very disappointed. This was the first hotel that we stayed in during our island hopping honeymoon so it was a real shame. Only positive is that it’s near a supermarket and about 5 mins walk from the centre. You’ll need that supermarket because the food at the hotel is dreadful and there is nowhere to purchase drinks apart from the pool bar which was unmanned both times we tried to buy something. The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel - the hotel doesn’t have a kitchen on site and everything is bought in so it’s lukewarm and just generally dismal. Thankfully we didn’t go all inclusive as the dinner looked awful as well. The pool is tiny and there was a smell of sewage whenever we went up so we didn’t use it. If you have booked this hotel and can’t get out of it I would recommend Palm Beach club during the day as they have a great pool and you can get sun beds for 3euros each. The communal areas are okay - this is what enticed us in but the room was the most basic I’ve seen even in Greek 2* hotels - there wasn’t even a bin other than the toilet paper one in the bathroom. No cups or glasses and you can hear everything outside your room as for some reason there is a big gap between the door and the floor. Also the shower kept going hot and cold. There are plenty of other hotels in Hersonissos at a similar price so avoid this one if you can. I’d expect more from a hostel. …
Have just returned from a weeks stay here on an all inclusive basis.. The food for every meal was cold. I spoke to the manager on duty and told him I was disappointed that the food was being served cold, he said that it was not a restaurant and that the food was brought in from caterers and not cooked on the premises. He did say that he would place an extra burner under the serving trays but this alas had little effect. As the week unfolded I noticed that only soft drinks were served with meals. There was a pool bar on the roof that was manned sporadically, so when someone appeared we made sure we asked for a couple of drinks each as it wasn't long before they disappeared again. 'Cakes' was also inclusive, one type of cake was left on the pool bar, the same flavour cake was served each day apart from Thursday and Friday when there was no cake whatsoever. I am really not one to complain & this is the first time I have felt the need to be a keyboard warrior, I realise this is the end of their season & enthusiasm must be dwindling BUT this is the least all inclusive holiday that is supposed to be inclusive that I have ever been on. As a room only option it would be perfect, The hotel is about a five minute walk from the beach and shops, the room was spacious and cleaned to a good standard daily.. Such a shame that it isn't all it should be in other aspects.…
Myself and 2 friends booked a trip to crete for 4 days just as a restful holiday. This hotel was the perfect place to stay - clean, well looked after, lovely pool (pool wasn't so clean - minor criticism) - close walk to shops/restaurants/bars and sea. We were able to check in really early on the first day and stay by the pool until our flight the last day - the staff were very accomodating. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!!!
