Romantica Beach is a very nice place to stay 👌😀 well located, away from the noise/crowd but close enough to supermarkets(6 min walk to the closest one) , ATM's, an open air museum, different restaurant options and of course a lovely beach right at your step door. This facility provides a strong and free WiFi. If you want AC you need to pay extra fee per unit /day. I would suggest to pay for one unit only which is more than enough and cheaper. The apartments are spacious and equipped with a small kitchenette and private w/c with bathtub and single beds with comfortable mattresses and they have one or two good sized balcony where you can also find a table and chairs. The swimming pool is so good and has an integrated jacuzzi. You will love it! You will always find a vacant long chair for lying down and enjoy the sun. Our holidays at the Romantica Beach Apartements were absolutely amazing. The apartment was spacious and had a little kitchen who was big enough to cook our own meals. The best part about the apartement was the balcony - the view was absolutely breathtaking, I‘ll never forget our breakfast mornings and sunset dinners in front of that view by the stunning sea. The place has a lovely pool with some sunloungers and as soon as you cross the street you can hop into the sea through big rocks. 5 minutes away from the apartement there’s a big grocery store, you can also find many more little supermarkets on the way. In just 10 minutes (walking) you‘ll reach the centre of Chersonisou wich is filled with good restaurants and stores - of course it‘s more of a touristic place, but there are also a lot of untouristic places around you can find. In case you‘d like to drive around the isle we recommend you to rent a Quad - they‘re not that expensive (ca. 60 euros per day, depends what kind of Quad) and our little drives to malia (ca. 15 minutes) and chersonisou definetly enriched our experience. Lasty, we‘d like to thank the hosts of Romantica Beach. They were incredibly welcoming and generous, we sometimes even received freshly cooked traditional greek food to try! Overall we definetly recommend the apartements at Romantica Beach - if you are looking for a lovely and calm place to stay, with a stunning view included, there‘s no better place.…

We stayed three nights in Romantica, which was a pleasant stay. It has a good location just across from a rocky beach, which is great for snorkelling, and parking right beside it. The walk to town is about 20mins. Although our booking promised air conditioning, we were advised it was an extra 5€ per day, which was off putting. We slept with the windows open which meant mosquitos and being disturbed by noisy mopeds and quads passing on the road in front. Our room was next door to the owners, so also heard their tv late at night and them talking loudly. The shower curtain doesn't quite cover the area and you end up with a lot water on the floor. Careful not to use their white towels as a bath mat or you'll be charged - there are signs advising of this in the bathrooms. Shame they haven't organised an alternative as it was get messy and slippery - the plastic doormat doesn't quite measure up. There's a nice swimming pool with sun lounges and umbrellas, plus drying racks for your beach gear. …

Very nice place with a fine pool, particularly suitable for children and those who do not have olympic aspirations since it was not too deep in any place (max 150 cm?). Close to the sea and a small sandy beach surrounded by rocks that made snorkling interesting. The road posed no problem since it had little traffic, but to access the sandy beach you must expect some light climbing. The sea view from our roomy apartment with a large balcony was perfect and soothing. Lots of good tavernas and restaurants a ten to fifteen minutes walk away. The only flaw, to my mind, was the annoying bass drum that every other evening sounded accross the water from a party resort in the nearby Hersonissos. Sympathetic and helpfull personell added to a pleasant stay.

The welcome was really friendly and a lovely small hotel with a quiet pool and great secluded views. The family were great with the kids sorting them out little snacks and drinks on arrival/leaving although this was not part of the package. 15min walk to star beach resort with all the water park facilities for free but if you really don't like walking a car or bikes might be helpful.

Just got back from a lovely week here with my husband and 2 kids aged 2 and 4. The villas are basic but very clean and with everything you need. The view of the sea from the villas is beautiful and you can see and hear the sea from the bed- just stunning! The pool was great and the sun loungers. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet but you can walk into the main part in about 15-20 minutes. We went to star beach lots with the kids And that is brilliant. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We travelled as a group of 5 guys looking for a relaxing week, prioritising close proximity to the beach as well being reasonably close to the centre of Hersonissos. Romantica Beach villas offers the perfect mix, being a pleasant 20 minute stroll from town and a 20 second walk to the beach opposite. In terms of the hotel facilities, you'll find everything you need. A clean, well maintained swimming pool with plenty of comfortable sun beds, a lobby with drinks and snacks available to purchase, and great rooms. The hotel does not serve food but the rooms boast full kitchens along with most untensils you need. The views from every room are great considering they face the sea and you will find at least one (we had two) large balconies as well. Air conditioning comes at a charge like most other hotels in Greece, but at €5 per day, it's well worth it. The owners, Katerina and Manolis, are always available and are very helpful, whether it be with information on the local area or any hotel related requests you might have. Overall, we were very happy with everything at Romantica Beach Villas which exceeded expectations in every way. Very friendly, great owners who were helpful and hospitable, very clean and comfortable, quiet location but only a short walk to taverna's, pool wonderful and beach only across the road. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived although 3 hours late but were greeted with a beer and a glass of wine at 11 pm.

Just got back from a weeks stay at Romantica Beach Villas( 2 people). We had a fantastic time. Romantica is situated just across the road from a small beach, where there are sunbeds if you want them - think there is a charge. We never used beach sunbeds as there were plenty of sunbeds around pool. We stayed in room 4, it was spacious, clean and perfect for what we needed. It would suit a family of 5 as there were 3 beds in lounge area and separate bedroom with its own balcony for adults. All rooms overlook the sea and it was so peaceful. There are a couple of supermarkets a walk across the beach to the right or up the hill road to the right of Romantic and a couple of Tavernas(slighty more expensive than others, but it didn't matter for the convenience!) To the left around 10 - 15 minutes walk either along the beach or on the road there are numerous Tavernas and shops - we found Select Supermarket the cheapest and right next to taxi so you can stock up with what you need water etc.. and it costs 7 euros to take you back. Katerina and her husband are lovely people, so helpful kind and willing to give you any advice you need with regards to where to go etc. Everywhere is really clean, rooms were cleaned a couple of times during our stay and bins emptied a couple of times too - but its no problem as a bin literally on road outside apartments, so we just emptied them ourselves and then asked for bin liners etc. Towels changed every couple of days, but I am certain if we wanted fresh ones before that it would not have been a problem at all. There was an oven and hob and ample cutlery if you want to eat in - we ate out every night, but had breakfast and lunch at apartment most days. Mosquitos were a problem for us, so bring plenty of spray. We chose not to have the aircon as rooms were so cool at night with the sea breeze and we left doors open, so when we go back will get aircon and close all the doors. Amazing location with magnificent views, very quiet and close to Hersonisos at the same time. We really enjoyed our stay there and we would definately recommend it. We could hear the sound of the sea while relaxing in our bedroom and enjoy the views to the Cretan pelagos day and night. The swimming pool in front of the complex is very nice place to relax as well. We enjoyed the fact that we never needed the aircodition as the breeze of the sea is the best alternative and a way to really feel and enjoy the greek summer.
