A part of Phool Mahal Palace in Kishangarh has been converted in a hotel by the owners with limited facilities. We did not stay here but had lunch in its dining room, took a 2 hour tour of the palace and looked at the rooms available. The palace is over 400 years old but still is in quite good condition.... The drive up to the hotel is amazing, with the city walls on one side and the lake on the other. My room was very spacious, great air conditioning and attached bathroom. We had space to do yoga, the meals were great and the Reservation Manager/tour guide Kishor Upadhyaya was incredible. His English was great, and he was very helpful... More

We booked the delux rooms, but were lucky to get an upgrade to the Suites. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating of our custom requests (pyaaz kachori from nearby shop!). Each and every meal they cooked for us was great in taste with exceptional service. They also offer a private tour of the fort which is in the backdrop... More

This is one of the best fort palaces that you will ever get to stay. Add to it the super cool view of the lake and cool evening breeze coupled with the tasty food and awesome service. Truly worth every penny that you spend here. And service in Indian hotels, if its not a 5 star is still a rarity... More

Phil mahal palace is a beautiful 21 room heritage hotel in kishangarh. We went there to check out the property and were met with a rude gatekeeper who asked us to leave if we didn't have a reservation. I explored this property for a friend's stay. This is a real palace at the edge of a lake that has been converted into a hotel. It is a quaint charming property and has a personalized decor. The town in which the property is located is visited by people who need to buy marble for construction purpose and probably these... More

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. We were made to feel so welcome and every effort was made to make our visit memorable. The dinner was delicious, the rooms had splendid views over the lake and watching the Pelicans in the early morning was quite something. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Phool Mahal Palace has the massive Fort of Kishangarh as its backdrop and is washed by the monsoon fed Gundalao Lake in front, an architectural setting very rarely seen in Rajput history. Dry and drab though it may seem in the summer, the first magic showers transform it into a serene and smiling land. Even today its setting and the myths related to it, provide themes for the painters of Kishangarh, executing in the classic style of the Kishangarh school of painting on paper, cloth, wood, marble etc. ... more   less
