This Lodge is right on the Lake with lots of green space,Our room was comfortable, quiet and we loved the big King sized bed. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, desk, a balcony with 2 chairs and a little table that overlooked the pool, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts. There also were cottages, bicycles, fire pit, indoor pool, outdoor seating areas in different areas, including in the grass near the lake. Restaurant and Lounge were on the first floor along with banquet and conference rooms. We enjoyed our stay even though we did not take advantage of the pool area or bicycles and there is a resort fee. Felt that it was a little high for Ohio.

No stove or oven, and only a mini fridge for a 2 bedroom cottage? Who would build such a thing? I hate to give only 2 stars, but this issue was a deal-breaker! Such a shame as these are lovely cottages right on the lake. We paid more for a "Premium" cottage, which meant it was in the front row of cottages right next to Lake Erie. ("Deluxe" gets you a middle row with a partial view, and a regular cabin is in the back--prices increase as you get closer to the water.) Gorgeous view! But, when we walked in with our coolers full of food to cook, we were dismayed to see that there was only a giant microwave, a tiny dorm refrigerator, and a few plates, mugs, and silverware. Unfortunately, we brought steaks, and even tried to grill outside, but the grills never heated up beyond lukewarm. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, due it being a 'shoulder season' (late April), so that option was out, too. The cottage's bedrooms are pleasant--there's one king, and one queen. The bathroom is clean. But, there's only a tiny kitchenette (without a dining room table--just a couch and chair.) It's as if they designed these expensive free-standing cottages with only the amenities of inside the lodge hotel room! Disappointing! Watch out for the Resort fee--none of the resoert amenities were available in April, so we asked for them to refund them, and they did.

We have stayed here many times, but will now look elsewhere for accommodations. The bathroom was not clean, and though two years post covid they still are not offering daily housekeeping service. You put your dirty towels outside the door, but have to go to the front desk for clean linens, trash bags, coffee, etc. You have to deal with your own luggage as they do not offer porter service, which should be considered in the future especially for the price during spring and summer. It is a beautiful setting, but needs updated, a deep cleaning and housekeeping returned. The restaurant and bar being closed for two days is a huge inconvenience as there is nowhere close to get breakfast. The restaurant does not open full time until the end of June. The mattresses are very firm and uncomfortable. The rooms need more lighting. The rooms are dark and some lamps did not work. The fan in the bathroom did not work. This is a beautiful venue, but it needs attention to detail.

Nice place but looking at the summer rates 400 for a room is little high. This isn't Myrtle Beach or Ocean City. Being from Ohio my tax dollars built this lodge and yout charging these rates for people from Ohio. I'll be contacting my State Representative for a answers.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel the week of Thanksgiving. The Lodge is right on Lake Erie. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. There is a beautiful fireplace in the lobby. We had several meals - which were very good. We also enjoyed the wine tasting transportation arranged through the hotel. Our driver was terrific and we enjoyed all of the stops to different wineries in the region. There are a lot of wineries near by! Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights here so that we could take the shuttle tour of area vineyards. In late November, it was well worth the cost for our poolside room. Our room was comfy and well appointed. I like how they have the European style shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in pump dispensers dso that you're not using those tiny bottles. The staff we ideally friendly and helpful. The lake views are great. The one downside of this say was that their internet wireless was a bit sketchy occasionally. I understand that during peak season the rooms go for four or five times what we paid for late November--your calculationabout ifthat's worth it. As for their shuttle tour of regional wineries, our driver4, Don, knew what was good and showed us a fine time. Highly recommended!

Barb Sykes went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The food and service was excellent. The room accommodations were comfortable. The Keurig in room is a welcome touch. They offered additional ammenities. Horizons breakfast buffet was ample, reasonably priced and offered a wide selection of food items. They did offer pre check in to accommodate out of town guests.

The Lodge is very nice, very clean, room was great. The staff is so friendly, and helpful with advice about places to eat, the local wineries, etc. Luckily I looked in the cabinet in the dresser-it turned out to be the refrigerator. The TV cable was somewhat hard to figure out, no channel guide in room.

First trip to Geneva on the Lake and it was wonderful. We had a cottage for 6 family members and it was clean and comfortable. This was our first time there and we will be back. Everything was great from the free bicycles, pools, hot tubs, trails, restaurant, zip lining and the beach a mile away. Had some really good meals in town on the strip. Not a lot was open when we were there but enough to have a lot of evening fun.

Wonderful place. Beautiful outside and inside. Manicured property with gorgeous flowers. Great reception area with large fireplace and couches and chairs to spend time with friends and family. Lovely pool and area that was just being completed around it. Indoor pool for when the weather was inclement. Restaurant was excellent and staff wonderful. Right on Lake Erie with walking trails. Nice, little gift shop.
