We stayed on June 25 as a stopover whilst going to Dalhousie. There are plenty of areas to sit and unwind. The f&b staff are acceptable. Food was a mixed bag. The salt was more couple of times. The sit out Dining in the evening was really enjoyable. What needs to be addressed is the lizards that seem to find... More

Thank you for pointing out the "salt" level in the food. The Cheff has been alerted. Regarding the "wildlife" we agree it is totally unwanted. However, as we are in an orchard with a lot of greenery, lizards do make an appearance in the humid monsoon season. We try to minimise their presence with the help of specialist pest control... We stayed at the Judge's Court whilst en route to Dhramshala and quite honestly we wished we had just by-passed it and gone straight to Dhramshala. The house itself is lovely and has been refurbished but still maintains its colonial style and furniture. The grounds are lovely and it is very near to the Heritage Village - there are plenty... A wonderful colonial building but the rooms are big, but a bit dated. Set in the middle of some wonderful scenery, dinner is taken on the lawn. The food was not the best I have ever had to be honest, but what folowed was one of those comedy gold moments that will last with me for a long time. Distant... More

Set in its own grounds adjacent to a heritage village. The hotel feels like you are staying in some ones house as a guest. Charming with very attentive staff. Dinner was served outside in the grounds with breakfast in a small separate building utilised as a dining room. Ideal for walks in the village. Would recommend

Beautiful property located in midst of greenery. We reached at 4 am and were quickly attended and checked in. The rooms are spacious and well maintained despite the years this property has seen. We were lucky enough to visit the older village property which is enchanting and tastefully maintained.

This is a beautiful heritage building with lots of charm. We were lucky to be placed in the old mansion and had a lovely big room with a veranda overlooking the lawn. The bird song was a delight. The owners were attentive and we ate dinner on the lawn. We even got to watch one of the ladies make and... More

At The Judge’s Court we offer an experience of gracious living in a Country Manor in rural India during the era of the Raj. Over the years the facilities and services have been tweaked to add to guest comfort without detracting from authenticity. Up gradation and improvement are an ongoing exercise and whilst expressing our thanks for the comments we... More

This hotel has a lot of charm. It is an old mansion owned by an old prominent family, two of whom were judges of the High Court in the British era. The rooms and common areas are tastefully furnished. And their is a nice lawn in which to sit. But unfortunately it lacks some very important basics. Apparently they never... More

We appreciate the comments - we learn and improve with observations of our patrons especially those who have been to us earlier. The Judges Court is a family Country Manor operated as a Heritage Hotel. An effort is made to ensure the food reflects “home cooked” with flavour of the local cuisine. This adds to the experience of “heritage” &... More

This was a very pleasant place to stay. The owner's son happened to be visiting the property while we were there and not only gave us some Indian wine (a very drinkable Merlot/Malbec blend) to go with dinner on our first night, but also acted promptly when we reported a problem with the hot water supply. It turned out that... More

We stayed in the Judges Suite. It was a step back in time....with the advantage of a/c. The room was furnished from 100 years ago...but comfortably! The suite is in the main building which is a living museum. It is brought to life by stories from the family who still own and run the business. The house has a number... More

Had a two night stay at this hotel on a guided tour of this part of India and after seeing it on the internet I was looking forward to it. We were housed in an annexe which was at the entrance road a little walk from the main building. Normally not a problem until the weather breaks and monsoon rains... More
