Beautiful, old colonial house converted into a home stay in a quiet neighbourhood of Dalhousie. Gives you home cooked delicious food made to your choice. Breakfast in the lawn amidst plum tress surrounded by mountains was one of my favourite things. One can see the Peer Panjal range from there. Rooms are tastefully done, while keeping the old style intact.... More

The silverton is a sweet getaway from the usual hotel experience. The entire decor has a rustic british feel to it. The rooms are palatial with antique fittings. The whole decor is just so warm . Food is amazing, and made as per your taste. Mr. Vikram Singh has always been an incredible host . Not many people are aware... More

My Experience at Silverton Estate was not so pleasant though the property was nice but the staff was not so good , food was average and overly priced as per the quality of food .. The number of instructions hanging across the property was not appreciating by any of us .

The hotel is OK not bad not good but forget about hotel when we go to place like Dalhousie you are not meant to sit in hotel we drove but took a longer route through pathankot so reached around 11 at night to tell you frankly to drive that high in deep darkness and voice of wind was bit scary... We stayed at Silverton Estate Guest House from 22nd to 24th June 2013. The property is located a kilometer from the main Gandhi Chowk but yet seems to be in the midst of a forest. Dense Pine and Deodhar trees surround this place. The rooms are spacious and beautifully maintained and every effort was made to make us comfortable. Vikram... More

The place is well maintained, fully sprinkled with old memories, pictures, linens, paintings a good dose of old world nostalgia.......it is a nice option to stay in home full of its own history rather than usual hotel, one does encounter a number of instructions hanging across the property, but apart from that it is worth staying ..... food is nice,... Stayed for 3 nights in June 2012. We were 2 couples with one kid each. The place is very beautiful for people looking for relaxed vacation. Nice lawns and clean rooms, away from busy hotels yet near (walking) to town. Its a home (nice and big, old but like heritage) where owners have made a part as guest house. The... More

I stayed in this great Silverton Estate Guest House during the long weekend which was 13-15 Aug 2011 with my family members . This place gave such personal touch with the owners staying in the same campus to look into each and every minute details in the room or of the food . I think I made the right decision... More

I chose Silverton estates based on a very good review by a friend, who had earlier stayed there. The place is a heritage property, and is magnificently maintained. The owners, and the staff are very courteous, and put in a lot of effort in making our stay a memorable one. The host, Vikram, took extra care in ensuring that we... More

We chose Silverton Estate for our stay in Dalhousie. The place was built during the British Raj. We wanted a home stay property, a comfortable place - and we were not at all disappointed. We were two couples with children in the age group of 4-6. The place is picture perfect, with tall devdar trees in the premises, a decent... More
