Hotel staff is nice, Hotel is outdated, floor looked like it was not swept, how can you have a flat screen tv that doesn't have HD! Come on you charge about 100 dollars a night, I would only stay here if I absolutely had too. It's just not a cozy place, very average at best.Go down the street a couple blocks and get a more cozy room that is cheaper. Sorry, but this is a not a relaxing place at all..

I have stayed at the Hope numerous times (probably adds up to months) when the WPAFB Inns are completely booked. It is a disappointing to me that the government has a multi-decade contract with this hotel. At $95+ a night now, it is not worth it. Go a couple miles down the road and stay at one of the chain hotels at the same rate if possible. Here are some positives: The morning restaurant crew is always friendly and I very much enjoy the lady who has been there for years. She is very friendly. Some of the front desk crew are courteous and wish you a good morning or good night. The breakfast is decent. The beds are decently comfortable. Here are some things that need to change: When it snows, plow your parking lot - especially the entrance toward the base entrance. My car did not stop due to the street being entirely slick and I thank God that no cars were in line to get on base. I slid for about 150 feet out of your exit and did not stop until the blacktop of the entry of WPAFB. This is unacceptable. Please notify your refuse service that you are a hotel. Having a trash truck pick up a metal dumpster right next to my room at 3:00 in the morning is unacceptable. As others have mentioned, may I suggest that you take off all of your soap and shampoo dispensers off of the walls and replace with sealed bar soap and shampoo and conditioner in bottles? I do not like to complain and act like managing a large hotel is an easy thing (because I have never done it). But please, for the sake of us in the military that are required to stay here because of a contract, do your best to make improvements and keep it clean and safe, not just because you should have pride in your job, but also as a company that provides a lodging service to military members and the public. The bottom line for me is - I would choose WPAFB Inns and no per diem then choose to stay here. I have HOPE that this someday will change with some good management decisions. See you soon!!

I attended a military class and was forced to stay here. None of the students were allowed to stay anywhere else. First, the good- The front desk folks are friendly and helpful. There is on-site laundry. My room had new carpet. There are lots of usb ports a available to charge your electronics. Now the rest- The bathroom is really dated. The hotel web site says the building was built in the 1990s, but I seriously doubt that. Maybe it was bought in the 90s. The counter is cheap laminate and the edges are all chipped and cracked. The sink stopper is rusted and corroded. There is warmish water in the morning, never any hot water. Everything is just cheap and crappy. I was shocked to learn this hotel wasnt government owned. I assumed it was a lowest bidder issue. There is a coffee maker in the room, but the coffee is some off-brand that tastes like dishwater. The soap issue is hilariously cheap. Dial soap dispensers in the shower, so it's like washing your hands at Target, but it's your whole body. None if the furniture matches (which is also why I assumed it was military run). The free breakfast buffet is meat, eggs, and dairy heavy, but only whole apples or oranges for fruit. No fruit salad or sliced fruit. No sharp knives to peel the oranges either. Just dig right in with your fingernails... in a restaurant...like a barbarian. If you wanted to wash your hands after getting them covered in orange peel and sticky orange juice, you need to go back to your room. The restaurant bathrooms are locked in the mornings. Wifi was spotty. It worked 5 to 10 minutes on, 5 to10 minutes off. Housekeeping made my bed by just throwing the top blanket over top of the crumpled up comforter and sheets. I could go on but I wont. The stay was terrible and made worse by the fact that the Air Force is in bed with this awful hotel and forces students to stay here, even though it is more expensive than the better hotels.

This hotel is trying. However not hard enough. My room did have new carpet, curtains, furniture, and the bed wasn't too bad. My toilet dripped constantly (annoying). The hot water was hit and miss and the water pressure did have issues during the first part of my stay. The whole hotel did have a power outage and the receptionist did not know how to handle this. Also I would come back to my room during lunch and the water was off a few times which was inconvenient. I did not have wifi problem but I did hear others complaining about this.
