Nestled in a wooded valley in Ohio's Amish area, The White Oak Inn bed and breakfast offers a comfortable secluded retreat. Ten comfortable guest rooms and two luxurious log-cabin cottages are offered. Some rooms have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. A full country breakfast is included in the room rate, and dinners and romantic dinner baskets for two can be ordered in advance. Our meals are carefully crafted using fresh local products whenever possible. Gluten-free, vegetarian and other special diets are cheerfully accommodated. There are plenty of recreational activities nearby, whether it's shopping in Ohio's Amish area, doing wine-tastings at local wineries, outdoor activities like canoeing, hiking or zip-lining, or just enjoying the beautiful scenery. My wife and I wanted to spend a couple days in Amish Country and desired a small, scenic bed & breakfast. The While Oak Inn met ALL of our expectations. Nice, quite room, good breakfast, excellent staff. The other guests also proved interesting to talk to the weekend we were there. We will recommend to others.

Thank you. We generally find our guests appreciate being a bit "off the beaten path" away from the traffic and crowds in Amish country on a weekend.

My husband surprised me with tickets to the Ohio State Reformatory for my birthday during the weekend of the Parapsycon. I was able to pick the place we stayed in. I am so glad I found the White Oak Inn. Yvonne and Ian were such wonderful hosts and answered any questions about the area that we had. We stayed in the Acorn Cottage and it was extremely comfortable and felt like we were secluded. Wifi did not reach the cabins and it took a couple of hours to completely disconnect but once we did, we loved feeling like we were off the grid. The beds were very comfortable, the shower pressure was fabulous and the sheets were so soft. We had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner on Saturday night, and the food was to die for. Yvonna is a chef and you can tell she puts the time and love into each dish she makes. Their pup is so friendly and relaxed. We were even able to see a glimpse of their kitty. Before we left on Sunday, we were in the works of coming back.

Had a GF weekend at that last minute....needless to say spur of the moment. We had a wonderful time at the Inn. We arrived late evening and were greeted enthusiastically with smell of warm bread and a big smile. The inn absolutely lovely and the home cooking was superb! Cant wait to go again.

I cannot say enough about our hosts Yvonne and Ian - they were wonderful. My SO and I stayed in the White Oak Room - spacious and comfortable. We'd purchased the Romantic Dinner basket our first night - it included freshly made bread, sparkling cider, cheese, fruit for starters. A lovely green salad with fruit and nuts and then the most incredible presentation - 2 Cornish Game Hens on a bed of seasoned rice. Delish!!! Breakfast was great the next two mornings. We would highly recommend staying there. It's quiet and abuts a wooded area. Loved it! Thank you again, Ian and Yvonne for a wonderful stay!

Went to the White Oak Inn to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was as usual amazing. Yvonne & Ian are wonderful innkeepers. They make you feel more like family. It is always so relaxing, clean atmosphere. Of course, Yvonne is a gourmet chef and her breakfast and dinners are simply wonderful. You can't find a better spot for a celebration or just to get away. You can visit to the wineries, Amish places, hike to a beautiful water fall or simply just stay at the inn and relax. We have been numerous times and already planning another trip.
