This Fairbridge Inn and Suites is the worst place I have ever stayed, not worth even one star. The place was filthy, holes in my bedding, there was a stabbing while I was there and a drug bust. I was there with my daughter so I felt terribly unsafe and asked for my money back. They agreed but then changed their mind and have been very rude and nasty every time I tried to talk with them about it. It is unbelievable to me that a place like this can exist and rip people off. When I call the corporate office I also get nowhere with my complaint. Looks great on the outside - a nightmare on the inside!

I have never outright blasted anyone or any place before and I have been on FB for years. Today that changes. Read & Share! Fyi...This is a long post. BEWARE OF FAIRBRIDGE SUITES in AKRON /COPLEY TOWNSHIP So last weekend was a long weekend. Because of the events going on within the family I got 2 hotel rooms at the Fairbridge Suites in Akron/Copley Township. I've gotten rooms before many of times and never had a problem. The difference is it was called a different name. I called to make sure everything was good with both rooms and they told me they were sold out for the night. I let them know I already had a reservation and they looked it up and saw I had. I asked could I check in an hour early and I couldn't. At 4 I checked in. Made a run and came back. At that time family was coming in. My sis in law was in the kitchen, opened the cabinet and there was a used needle. I go upstairs and there is blood spots on the wall. Towels were dingy, the sheets and comforters had stains, and cigarette holes even though its non smoking, we pulled put the sofa couch and it had trash coming out of it as well as there were no sheets or pillows for the sofa couch. Because of everything going on that night we were outside most of the time and in the living room area so we never saw majority of this stuff until 4 in the morning. It was too late to check out and I figured I would handle it in the morning. The next morning we were gonna swim and eat breakfast. There wasnt any breakfast and the pool was packed. After the night before and only 4 hours of sleep we packed up and left. The manager was nowhere around and the front desk clerk apologized and gave us a pop and water🙄. I told them I was unhappy and it needed to be handled and money for at least 1 of the rooms refunded. They took my name and room numbers and phone number. I waited until Monday- No call. I called them. They asked for my number AGAIN and was told they would call back that day. No call. I wait. Finally today I call and he puts me on hold for 45 MINUTES straight. I hang up and call back. Now he tells me, he can't give a refund but can give me a coupon on the next stay. I GO OFF!? I ask him why would I EVER stay there again after all that! There were 2 fights that night and the police was called because the man next door was beating up his wife. Which is when I found out this place was an efficiency and a place where prostitutes frequent. Which explains the people we were coming across that night. If you switch a hotel to an efficiency then you need to telI customers that info. I gave them a chance to make the situation right and not get blasted but they just want to give me a free night and I dont ever want to come back to that trash. I told him I never try and get over. I will even pay for the 2nd room just refund me for the penthouse. Now he wants to check with the housekeeping manager when a week has passed and you didnt check with them when I checked out. Then they tell me it's no Cooperate office and the owner lives in another country. He claims he will call me back. He's a liar and nobody should stay at FAIRBRIDGE SUITES IN AKRON/COPLEY TOWNSHIP. I will post pics so you can see they trifling as hell! (Sorry not a needle a crack pipe!)

Spent 2 nights here - 1 following an altercation described in my review of Red Roof Inn, Medina and the other 2 nights later. A few problems that were quickly handled well. Rooms are very spacious, beds comfortable and Chris is a fantastic manager. Made accommodations for my COPD mother that also met cleanliness standards during Covid-19 without a hassle.

The tiles on the floor was coming up and the dishwasher did not work at all in my room and was filled with dirty smelly dishes. Other than that the pool are was really nice but wasn’t open in time. Was advertised to be open at 10 am and still wasn’t open when we tried going around noon. The concept was nice and if the quality of the room was better I wouldn’t mind reserving here again but it’s definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

Clean rooms, modern updates and well taken care of grounds!!! That is what I would say if I could travel back in time 30 years. It’s a ghetto. I don’t understand how people can afford to raise their families here. I would only stay here again if someone would pay me a lot of money.
