My husband and I stayed at the Whimsical Pig this weekend to celebrate my birthday. Sue and Ron were very welcoming, fun and great people overall. The house is beautiful and filled with antiques that any history lover would enjoy. When we returned from dinner, a fire was waiting for us in the den, where we spent our evening enjoying the ambience. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. I would highly reccomend this B&B for anyone looking for a relaxing night away from home.
This was my first B&B, (my wife has stayed at a few before) and I did not know what to expect. It was a unique and pleasing experience. The hosts, Sue and Ron were excellent hoteliers and had made certain every detail from outside gardens with a relaxing place to have wine and enjoy the sights and wildlife to the tastefully designed interior were perfect. Breakfasts were great and filling and enjoyable! Highly recommend !!!
Just an amazing experience here. The owners are wonderful people. The place is immaculately clean. The gave us an entire bottle of wine along with cheese and goodies the night before. In addition to a breakfast later the next morning. Just an exceptional experience. We visited 5 years ago and the place is even better. Highly recommended. This is what B&B's are all about.
We stayed at the Whimsical Pig for our daughter's wedding at the Barn at Wolf Creek which is right down the street. The bridesmaids stayed on Friday night and our family stayed on Saturday night. Ron & Sue were excellent hosts! They made our stay very special. Their home made for a nice location to relax and unwind prior to attending the wedding. The breakfasts were amazing!
After biking on the tow path trail we were welcomed at the B&B by Sue and Ron with wine and cheese. They are the most accommodating and friendly hosts. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. The house was charming with all the antique treasures Sue has collected over the years.
