Though me and my friend spent one night at this hotel, it was a very nice one! Very friendly hotel staff at the front desk. I asked if it was possible to have almond milk as a breakfast option (I usually bring my own cereal) and the gentleman helping me said it wouldn't be an issue.. If we are in the area again we would definitely return

Dead bug in rooms. Hotel smelled of mold. Poor staff customer service who barely spoke english. Filthy carpet, bathroom had urine around commode, bathtub horrible. Poor breakfast. Broken ice maker, broken coffee pot in room. Bad part of town. Handle came off the closet door when I put clothes in closet. No cable until last day of checkout. We stayed two nights because we had no transportation available. We had no choice, as meeting people for the next two days and they were picking us up at the hotel as pre-arranged. Pictures on web site are deceiving. Full breakfast is false...continental breakfast with a few egg patties is what was offered. Bread was stale...so stale it was hard. When the A/C came on, it smelled horrible like the filter had never been changed. Stains on towels and sheets. My feet stuck to the floor in the bathroom and on the carpet. When I stepped into the bathtub, the bottom of my feet were so dirty from the 15-16' distance from the bed to the bathroom, the water in the shower turned black with filth. Need I say more. Don't walk away from this place....RUN! Find another place. The gutter might be better than this place. Need I say more?!!!!

Worst stay in a hotel I've ever had. First impression was we couldn't find the place! Typed the address into Google Maps. When we "arrived" we couldn't find a "Norwood". Called the hotel, and they said they'd changed the name ~1month ago, but hadn't changed the signage....Including the sign in the pic on their website which shows a Norwood Inn sign. Let that sink in. Hot and luke-warm water were backwards in the bathroom. Couldn't even get cold water to come out. No stopper in the bathtub. Had to plug the drain with a bar of soap to bathe my kids. Shower head had one setting: power washer. Hotel hallways/common areas did not seem to be air conditioned. Pool area was EXTREMELY dangerous! So slippery my kids fell several times and hit their heads. Pool water was so murky you couldn't see your feet 3' down, and there were bits floating around. There was 1/3 ice machines that worked in the whole building, and my husband had to beat it into submission to get the ice to come out. Discovered on our last night that the peephole on our door was backwards so anyone looking in could see the entire room, but you couldn't see out. There were paint splatters and other stains on the carpet. They ran out of bath towels our last night, so we were given the half-sized pool towels. Breakfast is included, but SUCKS. "Eggs" were more like miniature yellow plastic frisbees that were half soft and half burnt onto the bottom of the warming pan. The pic on the hotel's website shows multiple warming pans, but the wannabe eggs were the only warm option. The pic on the website also shows two waffle makers, but there was only one, so the wait for the only decent item on the breakfast buffet was long. Not sure if it was the wedding going on, but at exactly 11p there was music so loud I could hear it through earplugs. We all agreed that it seemed as though the owners were working to update the hotel, but they were going about it in the wrong way. Instead of updating every bathroom light at the same time and then moving onto the carpet, they should close down a batch of rooms and get those all up to par. Regardless, remote camping would have had nicer accommodations, and I would NEVER stay here again! I'd rather sleep in my car! Seriously, don't go here!

Do not stay here - Door to room was broken into before - Pictures are totally deceiving. Breakfast bad flies gnats- no ice - pool hidden away and getting there was like going through a Halloween maze instead of a hallway. Had to ask for a do not disturb sign. Do not stay here

I took a group of high school athletes and coaches to Columbus for an athletic event, and I wish I'd chosen a different neighborhood. The rooms smelled like someone was smoking in them right before we opened the door. The bathrooms weren't very clean. Worst of all, it didn't seem safe. A guest in our party was offered by another guest to buy drugs. There were unsavory characters loitering outside the building at night and no security to prevent folks from entering the facility. Lastly, one of the rooms we had had a kicked-in door that wasn't fully fixed and we had to be moved to another room. Not a good way to make guests feel safe. The sad thing was that this was likely the nicest hotel on the block. Just avoid this area altogether if you know what is good for you.
