My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay with Hyatt. Staff was very helpful and considerate during our stay. The views are phenomenal and prices are affordable. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon!
Took my daughter for a night away as she loves staying on hotels. Everything was great and we felt very safe staying there with current COVID and hygiene protocols. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick night away. Close to lots of attractions within walking distance as well!
We were driving through Columbus in need of a place to stay with our two dogs. My wife has Hyatt status, and the hotel was pet friendly, so it seemed like a great match. Hotel and downtown Columbus were quiet; school is out, government is on recess and of course, COVID. Anyway, area seems nice and safe, hotel clean, and chris at the front desk provided quick service and a great room. We were able to purchase a bottle of wine from the front desk and the coffee shop on the 2nd floor provided breakfast. Due to pandemic, there was no valet parking or bellhop, but luggage carts were available, and a parking garage was less than a block away. I think there’s an indoor overpass connecting the hotel and garage, but couldn’t seem to find it. Anyway, would be happy to stay at the Hyatt regency again. Thanks Chris and thanks Hyatt!…
Perfect location, near enough to the Short North that we could walk to the restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops there, and close enough to the freeway that everything is easily accessible. Clean lobby and elevators, nice room with lots of windows for lots of natural light. My only complaint is that the bed wasn't very comfortable. The pillows and mattress were really HARD.
As will most hotel properties, especially if you're "in the city" their huge spaces are fairly vacant and their crews are equally reduced with the limited travel. That being said, at the Columbus, OH, Hyatt their staff's care, concern and friendly "can-do" ways fills the empty halls and bistros with positive energy. They are so helpful and accommodating - each of them doing jobs that they wouldn't normally do with a smile in their eyes (since you can't see their smiles) except for the clever buttons that they wear of their smiling faces on their uniforms, so that you can. :) These people have become my trusted travel family. They went threw a renovation in 2019 so their rooms are gorgeous and updated. If you find yourself in need of convenient and safe travel accommodations in downtown Cbus, the Hyatt is a gem! …
