The reason for my stay was my sons wedding. The staff did an excellent job making sure that the wedding was just as the bride and groom requested. The rooms was clean and beds was comfortable. Once in the room we could hear no noise from outside of the room. I will definitely be staying again and will also recommend to my friends.
No sleep at all. Noisy Hallways, Noisy Guests. Lasted for hours, as soon as I thought I was relaxed enough to fall asleep again, more noise. Slamming doors, Loud Conversations in the Hallways & in the adjoing rooms. Lost hours of sleep. Lookes like the Hotel put all the guests on one or two floors to save money. Most disruptive night I have had at a Hotel in the last 20 Years.
My daughter and I had an super comfortable stay at the Blackwell Inn last week. The lobby and rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed with new furnishings and nice finishes. PROS: Wonderful, friendly staff Serious about coronavirus precautions Very nice, spacious, clean room. Private access to laundry room and free detergent CONS: Our room wasn't accessible by stairs and only one elevator was working. To maintain social distancing we had to wait for the elevator to return empty, and it was unnerving to enter an elevator car that had just been vacated by someone else. NOTE: I used the parking garage across the street because I preferred not to use valet parking.
Even with Covid 19 limitations, our stay at the Blackwell was excellent! The staff was very helpful and friendly, as they always are and the rooms were in their usual clean and comfortable condition. We look forward to our next stay at the Blackwell.
hard to rest with neighbors carrying on all night. very disrespectful. security was called and we only were required to pay half price which we appreciated. nice hotel but neighbors ruined it for us...
