I felt comfortable in my room, and am satisfied with being able to get a decent sleep. I was able to check in promptly and had no issues checking out. There was plenty of parking and I was in close proximity to the business that I had to attend to in the area
We stayed at the Blackwell Inn during move-in of our son into the dorms. It was perfect to be able to conveniently walk back and forth. The room was artistically decorated and clean. Nice to have a combination of wood floors with comfortable carpet around the bed.
Very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff members are very welcoming and was impressed by the small conveniences such as the lounge and store in the lobby. Will return soon when my son becomes an official Buckeye!
EXCELLENT customer service & a great location. Freya & the front desk/ security/valet employee that was handicapped- I apologize for not asking his name- provided service above & beyond my highest expectations.
The Blackwell is very convenient to events held at Schottenstein Center...just a short walk away. The staff were extremely polite and responsive. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the rooms are not very soundproof. You will hear doors shutting and toilets flushing. Be sure to bring earplugs!
When one elevator is not working, there needs to be more assistance at that location. Had to wait quite a long time in a line to use the elevator. Access to stairs would have been helpful when such a situation occurs. You also need to prevent overcrowding the elevator in this situation.
We came to Columbus to see Jeff Dunham and needed a place to sleep. We struggled a little with parking but that could just be small town ignorance. I’ve never been to a fancy hotel before so parking was different, valet was awesome though… very friendly and helpful. It was overall a good stay after a great show.
A clean and comfortable hotel for business travelers. The conference facilities were good, and there were no IT glitches, which is so common at conferences. I only stayed one night, but the room was clean and very pleasant. I appreciated the Keurig coffee maker with extra coffee pods and a choice of china cups for those who dislike disposable ones (like me). The only negative was a shortage of hot coffee and hot water for tea at the conference. The containers were insulated but did not adequately hold the heat during the long sessions. A minor flaw in service.
Beautiful hotel with a five minute walk (maybe) to "the shoe". Very nice lobby, really nice rooms, nice, big bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was delicious. I only went up one time, I should have gone up again but I didn't want to stuff myself before the game. The eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sausage were so very good. 99% of the staff were polite and knew what they were doing. An exceptional place to stay after the game or any other time.
Stayed for an osu game. Stayed triple the rate. Requested a king bed. Got 2 doubles. The room was freezing. Bar was too crowded and never got a drink. It was worth not having to drive after the game or walk far.
