We found this BnB to be everything we expected. It's very Victorian, from the interior decoration to the woodwork. It's in the Victorian Village near the Short North night-time area and Ohio State. By Bus (routes 5 or 7) it's a ten minute ride to the center of the Short North on High Street. We found the hosts excellent and... More

I had no idea that Neil Avenue was a main thoroughfare, although that should be apparent from maps. The Emerald Room is right next to the street. I had trouble sleeping the first night due to the noise, but got used to it the second night. The first time we came up to the house, we had to triple-check the... More

When I checked in, I was told by the host that the water in Columbus, Ohio had nitrates in it so I should not drink it. I was told by the host that she used reverse osmosis for her drinking water & that I had been given a bottle of water in my room to drink. I asked for more... More

I was in Columbus for the for the Virginia Tech at Ohio State game and I wanted a place to stay that was close enough to walk to the Horseshoe. I lucked into to the Neil Avenue B&B when my hotel room was canceled (and they simultaneously had a cancellation.) The accomodations are very nice in a gorgeous house. There... More

Stayed here for two nights. Eliza welcomed us upon arrival. She was very nice and gave us a quick tour of the place. It's a great location in Victorian Village within walking distance of Short North area. The B&B was nice. We stayed in the Gardenia room on the 2nd floor. It had a comfortable queen size bed, chair, dresser,... More

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. We were delightfully greeted upon arrival. There was wine, banana bread, and chocolate chip cookies waiting for us as afternoon "tea". The room was pleasant. There is a nice parlor upstairs that is shared by the guests. We had our dessert after dinner and played games at the table in... More

I called to confirm availability for two rooms, two nights, to attend the Arnold Classic at the Columbus Convention Center. I was told the rooms are available and to book online. I booked online and received an email on January 13th confirming the reservation. I called the following week with a question. I left a message asking if my son... More

My husband and I met our friends in Columbus for the recent OSU/Wisc football weekend and my friend suggested this B&B. We are so happy that she did. It is a beautiful place and Elizabeth and her friend were very pleasant hosts. The breakfast was great and the rooms were very clean--very convenient to German Village and the OSU campus.... More

I had concerns about booking a reservation with this B&B b/c of other reviews. Those concerns were borne out by my attempt to book a reservation. The online booking tool wasn't working, so I emailed them to request a reservation for OSU's Parent and Family Weekend. I gave my cell phone number and offered to stop by the next day... More

This B&B is beautiful and clean. It's nicely appointed with antique furnishings. It was not cluttered with a lot of kitschy objects like many other B&Bs. Also, Most b&b's are in remote locations. It was a nice change to be in an urban area Within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Our host was gracious and accommodating.
