No restaurants open after 11 am - blaming on lack of help… but they seem to be able to have weddings with dinner served. Hmmm.. They need to alert the guests before arrival—- oh sorry,no restaurants open after 11 am. This is not an honest transaction as we would never stay at a hotel with no restaurants open and would never ever stay here again. Next time will it be make your own bed/ clean your room — Covid more help!!!!

Nice, clean, comfortable. Good to know that room service is not 24hrs as their site states, and the bar/restaurant also closes relatively early (10pm the night we stayed). As other reviewers stated, this is not a “true” RC service level (probably closer to a full service Marriott) but it is very nice for the area.

My wife and I took our first major trip to Cleveland to take in the city and had a great stay at the Ritz-Carlton. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so they took care of our luggage and we headed out to do some exploring. We got back by the proper check-in time but our room still wasn't ready but they were able to get us another room right away and we got settled in. The room was clean and had everything you would expect. The minibar wasn't in use and so the fridge was great for us to use to store sodas and some leftovers. The bathroom had a huge shower, dual sinks, etc. One of the best facets of the hotel is that we were able to get to everything so conveniently. The hotel is connected to an atrium with an indoor walkway to the Rocket Mortgage Field House, plus it also connects to the major subway lines so you never have to go outside. It's s stones throw away from the Casino and easy walking distance the the major restaurants, Playhouse Square, Public Square, and even the Rock Hall is doable on a nice day, but since Cleveland has a free trolley that is convenient you can just hop on that. Overall a great stay.

We checked into the Ritz-Carlton for a girls' trip and couldn't find the hair dryer in the room. While looking throughout the room, we found a cooler in the dresser, a towel with something bunched up in the closet, stains on the chairs, and used (!) condoms in the nightstand by the bed. We took photos to show the front desk. The manager was helpful and apologetic, and we were moved to a different room. The situation was disappointing with Ritz Carlton being a luxury hotel and paying good money for a dirty room, thinking if we hadn't been looking for a missing item that was supposed to be part of the hotel room, we would have never found the trash in the room. We were told the Housekeeping Manager would follow up. Apparently, they had just called the room, didn't leave a voicemail, and hadn't called my cell phone as we were away the entire night. After I didn't hear anything about the situation, I emailed the front desk to see if they could make it right after being checked into a room with a disgusting situation. The manager offered a dining credit for our next stay the following week for the Browns game, but I cancelled and booked elsewhere due to the situation from our stay. I never heard back. I was pretty aggravated in how the situation was handled when I had to reach out to see why no one had tried contacting me to make it right. Disappointing situation and will not recommend the Ritz-Carlton right now.

Just back from a one night stay at the Ritz Carlton in Cleveland. The hotel is above average but not upto other Ritz Carlton experiences. The room was nicely appointed though in some red of repair. The restaurant and bar are nicely updated but lacked personality. We did enjoy eating at the bar and enjoyed the company of a terrific bartender - the service was great and she was delightful, but the food was not great. Overal, not a bad experience just not on par with other Ritz Carltons like Chicago or St Louis.
