This hotel is way over rated and expensive. I had a king room that was noisy and way too cold with no way to make it comfortable. My room overlooked the atrium that had a pool and workout area. The room was extremely cold when I entered. It had a wall unit for cooling with 3 selections (manual, auto, off)... More

Dear ronilynn277, Thank you for your posting and for staying with us. We can certainly understand how the temperature of your room and the noise from the atrium would have been disappointing. Please accept our apologies. Our staff is always available to address shortcomings. Our hotel does have a wonderful restaurant, lobby bar and In Room Dining available and is... More

The hotel is old. The lobby is beautiful with lots of marble and character. But, the rooms are outdated. My room on the 10th floor had an unpleasant funky odor- mildew, a little like cigarettes?. The air conditioning was freezing and there was nothing I seemed to do to alter the temp. It was also very loud. The pipes hummed... More

Stayed here for work last week. Great location but the hotel needs some TLC which I hear is coming. The downstairs is elegant and very old world but the room floors are very outdated and in need of renovation. My room on the 10th floor was extremely quiet but the old HVAC made it a bit musty and there was... More

Stayed at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel while in town on business. Hotel was pretty nice. More of a traditional decor. Maybe an update to keep it from looking too dingy. Room was large with a king sized bed, all white marble bathroom. More than adequate. Actually it was pretty opulent considering I was only there for 3 days. Staff was... More

This hotel was perfect for everything. Walking distance to progressive field, the flats, christmas story house, and rock and roll museum. Nice place, looks very fancy, our rooms we a little small but it didn't matter at all.

We are the only hotel that if you arrive to the airport you can take the RTA to Tower City. We are attached to Tower City and to the Casino. You can walk to the mall and to the Quick & Loan center without even walking outside. All of the Cleveland's landmarks are in close walking distance to us. So... More

Nice place with lots of amenities. Great bar and the casino is right next door. Older building but maintained well. Parking is a little funky and a super long walk to the front desk. Staff was awesome and accommodating

No matter how modern the hotel and how new the building is the hotel can only be great if you have "awesome" employees. I will be sure to pass on your kind comments. We look forward to your next visit with us. More

We got a "Hospitality Suite" on the 4th floor. It was really large and could be used for a meeting (as the bed was a murphy /wall bed). It features a large dining table, fridge, bar area as well as marble bathroom.Couldn't figure out the air conditioner though (it was too cool and the temperature wouldn't sink to lower) also... The hotel itself was beautiful. Room was small but clean. Got a great deal by calling the hotel directly - better than any websites. However, I didn't feel safe in the area. Too many homeless and shady people who approached you constantly for money and to shake hands. Valet parking is a rip off. Go across the street for $10... More

Our owners recently gave a space to the downtown police department to help us with some of the outside traffic. Not everyone outside of the hotel is homeless but with the location of the bus stops they contribute to the outside foot traffic. Our parking rates are competitive with the other downtown full service hotels but their isn't any excuse... More

An old time hotel, reminding me faintly of the Waldorf interior although not quite as opulent,,,neither hotel obviously being what they once were....The Renaissance staff were pretty amazing behind the desk and the concierge. Not a great experience for a neat-looking old hotel. No bell service and staff at front desk were not particularly interested or helpful. Most helpful staff were at the Marriott Key Center across the street.
