I would never recommend staying at this hotel. I would be very concerned for the safety of any guests that do stay at this hotel. On our 3 night stay in their suite, specific instructions were given at check in that there was to be no servicing of the room during our stay. One morning with their sign hanging on the door handle, telling housekeeping to stay out of the room, the door opens and a male starts entering . If I had not been in the living room area, the male employee would have walked right in to the bedroom, with my wife sleeping there. That would have terrified her waking up!!! That should never happen, let alone at this quality of a hotel. After reporting the issue to the front desk, the manager said, “I’m sorry”. Well I’m sorry too, for staying here.
We had a room on the third floor. The windows are single-paned and let in lots of street noise. Also, beware adjoining rooms - the doors are not soundproof and our neighbors were loud night owls. It all made for a pretty bad night’s sleep. No other issues with the hotel (staff, location, etc are all fine). It’s just very noisy.
Will not take a credit card number to reserve a room Too difficult to work with. Wasted a lot of time trying to book a room I would not try to contact them again They struck out! There are better hotels
When I booked, I upgraded to a $400/night "premier city view" room with king size bed. The hotel is in Cleveland so for that rate I expected a great room with a cool view. Instead, we got a room with no view (right into building across the street) located right next to the very loud elevator bank. When I asked politely if we were in the right room class, the desk clerk was dismissive and sneered as if I were trying to steal from the hotel. More attitude than New York or Paris. The interior of the room and the gym were fine. The rest, not so much.
Our stay was to attend a game at Progressive Field that’s about a 10 minute walk away. Very convenient. Hotel is well appointed. Staff is pleasant. Betts restaurant is within the hotel and we enjoyed two meals there. All in all a great experience.
