Excellent service at the club floor. Anntoinette Petersson at club was outstanding. She made our stay more confortable taking care of us. I fully recommmend when going to Cleveland Clinic staying at the Club floors.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It’s spotless, the staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, there’s a turn down service which includes a piece of chocolate and daily housekeeping which is a rarity nowadays. Pay the extra for the club level rooms where breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour are provided. There are beverages available until 10:30pm. The staff in the club lounge are excellent too. Super friendly and you can hear them greet the regulars or remember certain requests from previous visits. The hotel is close to Case Western Reserve and the Cleveland clinic

I stayed at the concierge level and the staff were great. Antoinette in particular was exceptional and made my stay very comfortable. I felt better than even at home! Her attitude is exceptional and she works very hard.

Check in was easy and quick. Overall appearance of the hotel was nice. The hallways and doors going into the room were scuffed and overall looked rough. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Dirty dishes, left by previous guests stayed outside our door for two days, finally my husband called to have someone come and pick them up. The door in the shower, no matter how tight we had it closed leaked water all out on the floor, had to use towels to keep it soaked up to keep from slipping and falling. The convenience of this hotel is what I was looking for, since I was having major surgery and wanted my husband close by, but as much as I paid for this room, I expected alot more. It would have been really nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room, this something that should NOT cost extra, especially for families who have loved ones in the hospital. Alot of people choose this hotel for the added convenience because of loved ones in the hospital, and they shouldn't have to pay extra for things that should already be essential. …

Cost of rooms and food are ridiculously expensive for what you get. Facility was clean beds were decent. Sheets and bedding were loud like they were made of paper. Liquid soaps and shampoos were very fragrant but not a pleasant scent. Patrons with asthma and allergies prefer unscented or something very mild not flowery. Hotel cafe breakfast buffet $23.00 food was cold, OJ watered down. Toiletries vending machine was not working. Little value for prices. Staff was friendly and it is right next to Cleveland Clinic.

If you have to go to the Cleveland Clinic this is the place to stay. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness and value. The room is very functional and comfortable. The bathroom has a separate stall shower and tub. Marble floors and shower and granite counter tops. The restaurant in the hotel is also good and the bar is a great place to go after a long day at the hospital. My only negative is the mini bar charges $9 for a bottle of fuji water. A tip: Valet Park you car at the hospital it will only cost you $10/day (senior otherwise $12) The hotel charges like $38.00 You can leave your car with the valet multiple days.

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Conference Center before and after a medical procedure at Cleveland Clinic. The valet and bellman were very kind and patient as we had a lot of things to unload to help with comfort during the post op phase. The front desk was also very helpful and professional. Room was comfortable, we had issue with heat/air. They sent someone right away and it was fixed before we even made it back from an appointment. We did dine at Table 45 and the waitress was wonderful and food was delicious. Ordered food by room service multiple times and staff so kind, generous portions, and very tasty food. We paid extra for a club level room. This is where it really shined. First it is nice to have the breakfast, high tea, and evening drinks and food available. While the food was always hot and selections rotated daily, the best part is the people who work in the Club Lounge. Antoinette, Bernadette, and Monica are the epitome of perfect customer service. They are kind, caring, compassionate, helpful, and willing to help make your stay as amazing as possible. These wonderful women are the best asset to this hotel. They made sure we were well taken care of and went out of the way to get to know us on a personal level. I hope they are recognized for their impeccable service! The only complaint is that there is a lot of helicopter/ambulance traffic in and out of Cleveland Clinic but that is not the hotels fault at all. If you will be visiting the Cleveland Clinic for a medical procedure, look no further and simply book at the InterContinental Hotel. This hotel literally functions as an adjunct to the Cleveland Clinic. Walk anywhere on campus via the 3rd floor enclosed skyway to avoid whatever the weather is. When you are discharged from the Cleveland Clinic, they literally take you in a wheelchair directly to your hotel room. If needed, use the complimentary Cleveland Clinic point-to-point shuttle between this hotel and anywhere on the campus. When making reservations, use the website provided by Cleveland Clinic to take advantage of significantly discounted Cleveland Clinic room rates for stays of 5 days or longer. To make your stay truly your home away from home and not just a hotel stay, book a “Club Level” room on the 12th, 14th, or 15th floor. Your coded room key will provide access to these floors and take full advantage of the 14th floor Club Lounge. The very wonderful concierge/hostesses there, Anntoinette, Bernadette, and Monica, will provide very personal care and assistance in every practical way possible. Know that your spouse will receive family-like support from Anntoinette, Bernadette, and Monica while you are an in-patient. Anntoinette, Bernadette, and Monica have worked in the Club Lounge for a combined 60 years and they are the magic ingredient for making this your Cleveland Clinic home. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, Table 45, and there are cafeteria and other meal options within Cleveland Clinic buildings, but the superb complimentary food offered within the Club Lounge for breakfast, high tea, and evening canapes fully satisfies as light meals. Complimentary alcoholic beverages are offered there as well. A few other helpful hints. If you’re flying to Cleveland, there is no need for a rental car – just Uber from/to the airport and for the occasional trip such as the Rock and Roll Museum. If you’re driving to Cleveland, the hotel does offer a discounted Cleveland Clinic valet parking rate with in-and-out privileges, however self-parking is also available across the street at the Cleveland Clinic’s Visitor Parking Lot #2 for only $10 per day (no in-and-out privileges). The hotel provides superb fold and press laundry services, however if you prefer to use much less expensive self-serve laundry machines, you have guest privileges to use them at the nearby InterContinental Suites or Holiday Inn. Early check-in can not be guaranteed, but in our case leaving Honolulu on Friday afternoon and arriving in Cleveland on Saturday morning, early check-in was immediately available when we arrived at 11 AM. Because of the long travel distances involved for us, we very conservatively booked for a 19-day visit – 5 days to cover the myriad of pre-surgery appointments, 6 days to cover in-patient time for open heart surgery (this is obviously a variable), and a very conservative 8 days post-discharge through follow-up appointment.
